Haha trolling?
Rugby games are 80mins

Oh snap!
Been a while.

Far less head and neck injuries too as the players do not go head first into plays.

Dudes in American Football, run 10 seconds and need oxygen and a seat on the bench. Rugby, you are at it for 90 MINUTES SoN!!

that's only the linebackers....a lot of those guys are intentionally 350 lbs +.  running backs and wide recievers are some of the best conditioned athletes in the world (often qbs too)

Ehn.
I have seen all types of players heafing oxygen.
Anyhow, Football, American, is a great TV product. I can't see how watching it live could be entertaining. HIKE, run the play for ten seconds tops, whistle, wait two minutes, HIKE!

Rugby is just like life... An ebon flow.

England is predictable, they have no one left footed apart from the left back, who ever gets into position of midfield or on the wing has to cut in too use their right foot, by that time the whole team is back in defence, then we get blocked out, happened for the whole of the 2nd half against Italy, and pretty much the world cup before that, and the one before that. Personally I think the team should stop completely until we get some left footed players, that won't happen though due to importing players, in the normal seasons, we buy these God's from abroad and get left behind, it's why we have a team of Kids that are limited in what they can do, also the managers are to blame like Arsenal, it's a London team with I think 2 English players, so due to this England are an officially shit team, taken 20 odd years to fall this far, but this World Cup is the nail in the coffin. It shouldn't shock, we couldn't get into the Euro's ha ha!!

true true,i thought sturridge was left footed, hes alright, right?

Yes, last time got him suspended for 10 games when he bit Ivanovic in the Premier League. I'm curious what FIFA will do. They should suspend him.

You might be right, so our genius manager sticks him on the right, I just don't get how they can ignore simple body mechanics.

FIFA won't do a thing, from this documentry that was on the other night they're pretty corrupt. We need to do what rugby does with goal-line tech, but they won't introduce it as they won't be able to fix matches, and make a profit out of gambling. Really makes sense why the Host team always wins it's first match. It's probably the biggest business in the world, it really can't be left to the players on the pitch to just have a game fairly. When you think about the refs alone, they always make shit or dodgy decisions or miss a penalty decision like last night with england or Brazil & Croatia, when they are in full blown view to see it. Suarez is the new Maradonna, short greasy cheating little shit. He'll get remembered for his tactics rather than skill. Someone should just go in with a nasty high tackle and fuck his knee, and put him on the bench, and that bald greasy idiot who scored last night is another one who needs pulling up. Greece make me laugh, they just kill the game completely, one player goes down, it takes nearly the whole game to get him up again ha ha!!

^ From what I've heard about corruption allegations some players are being payed by underworld types as well. Actually, most major league sports suffer from the same problem. I remember a few years back some NBA ref who was convicted of some sort of gambling related charge came out and said almost all referees were corrupt as fuck.

Totally makes sense when everyone spots something a bit dodgy in a game, goes off the rails, and the ref sticks with the most ridiculous choice.

I remember watching the NBA finals a few years ago, the last time the Lakers won. Totally thought the winning game was fixed by the refs. That's why I hate games, in any sport where the refs call tons of crap.

Video review is coming to football, they are going to trial 2 challenges per team per game, 4th official reviews video and has power to overrule ref. It's easy to see everything that happens with the benefit of 40+ cameras and instant replays from every angle, very difficult to referee a game at pitch level as it happens, and referees are human so they make mistakes. Refs at world cups come from all the participating nations, many of which have less developed club football. Most northern European refs are pretty good because they ref high pressure big money games on TV week in week out. As I see it the corruption within FIFA is on a corporate level, not on the pitch. Doesn't matter what happens on the pitch when you have already got your sponsorship backhander and your backhander for awarding the tournament to whatever country paid the most.

It will help, but what would really help and in turn make the game more interesting is if they could remove the flop, dive, fake hurt culture. Its really disturbing to see these grown man flopping and faking injury so bad. Also, whenever you see a guy fight through a challenge and stay on his feet, not only is he more respectable, but good things happen!

That Uruguay Italy game was brutal with the fakeness.

Anyone been watching? This is probably one of the most interesting World Cups in quite some time.

I've been rooting for Portugal but with that horrible loss to Holland and Ronoldo being hurt it doesn't look like they will advance.

How about Costa Rica?!!

Avid watcher :)

I don't think we played Portugal though ;)

Hope we go one step farther and win the final this time!

Peazy  J. ..The Netherlands (Holland... actually there are thirteen provinces of which one is called North-Holland that's where Amsterdam is and the other South-Holland that's where I live in Rotterdam... Holland is used as a sort of refence to dutch wholesome culture... Dutch is a term for people living in The Netherlands which is based on a misconception as the word actually refers to Deutsch(land) which is the german word for Germany... haha ...)
