I don't know if a lot of you know what i'm talking about, but I've been listening to a lot of tracks and it seems like a lot of cats loved to use this one horn sound with some sort of echo effect on a lot of tracks... 

 

I was wondering if anybody knew where people were getting it from....

 

for an example....

take a horn stab of some kind off a jazz record........put a delay/echo on that bitch voila

i used to think it was the dopest thing ever (still do a little bit) in the 90's, when i finally got my mpc in 99 i did it straight away like :ohmy: :lol:

No Problem.... I just was wondering about that horn.... I feel crazy right now... I got mad music, but i'm not sure what to sample...it's so stupid.

You can seriously sample a jazz horn and do what you want to it

Yo in that first video that beat sounds grimy as hell. Does the 1200 always sound like that or is it just what the dude is doing?

Mainly the guy using it but a bit of both.  That's Damu the Fudgemunk, always brings straight heat but normally on the MPC
