Dude was such a solid actor, countless great roles including Eddie Valiant in Who Framed Roger Rabbit, Mr Smee in Hook, Mario in Super Mario Bros...

And of course one of my favs, Harold Shand:

so sad. the real tragedy is he'll probably be remembered by most of america for Mario and Smee, when he had so many incredible dark dramatic roles in his lifetime. truly a loss! Even in little bit parts he was dope, like Brazil? motherfucker could be flat out hilarious, warm and fuzzy, AND flat out terrifying, all with equal skill.

Gonna hit up Mona Lisa tonight probably!

Great guy. Sad news.

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0120391/

Twenty Four Seven is fuckin' awesome. not sure if it got much exposure outside of the uk.

Super dark and grimy...

great directorial debut feature for Shane 'Where's the money, Ronnie' Meadows

I think Hoskins did the role for next to no money too.

Watched, Who Framed Roger Rabbit recently. RIP for sure.

On a side note, and what was mentioned and is true in that movie, for all you LA heads, is that LA used to have one of the best public transit systems in the world. Streetcars everywhere. Then, big oil, car companies bought them up and destroyed them. Think about that next time you are stuck in traffic.
