I did and I got some cool loot, but no hip hop. I did discover Afrika Bambaataa did a cover of one of my favorite songs, and it was released on some cool vinyl last year:

i got that Kick Out the Jams 45 last year on RSD...still have it, don't think i've ever actually played it.

i got that Kick Out the Jams 45 last year on RSD...still have it, don't think i've ever actually played it.


Cool I just ordered a copy off discogs. Funny how a lot of last year's releases are just a tad over retail, while some of this years are way inflated.

The "Mother Fucker" opening line was pretty controversial at the time of the release. Hard to imagine with the new Gibbs / Madlib release that that would be a big deal...

Fucking wish I had now. I never pay attention because I always imagine it to be a shit show, but apparently Amoeba here had ten copies of the De La Soul "Smell The D.A.I.S.Y." on vinyl out of 100, plus I didn't know Black Milk was doing a limited run of Glitches In The Break. Kicking myself.

Can't imagine the Black Milk being too hard to find, it's worth picking up though (digging that Guilty Simpson track)

anybody wanna be a dear and "point me in the right direction" in getting that White Sands EP? i have the instrumentals, but now i wanna hear how HS handled all that craziness Paul White cooked up for him.
