...Thanks for starting the vote BMC...

Not ready to vote yet myself but I would like to take this opportunity to bring the "Special Rule" into the spotlight again.

To name a few past ones:

Combine two samples
Layer the samples
Collab week... in memory of Nelson Mandela's death... (maybe again on his date of passing next year?)
No outside samples
Outside recording
Outside instrument
Use of an acapella
...
and different themes

We haven't had a special rule for a couple of weeks now...

So to this weeks winner... think up something good!

It's not a rule to come up with a special rule though! ;)

Oh, a time limit is not really a special rule.

We need something challenging to test our skills.

Anybody who recollects previous rules feel free to add in order to avoid having the same one... or to possibly inspire.

Aight... Peazy J.

No quantizing is an interesting one. Or use of an obvious sidechain. I like the themed idea.
God help you all if I ever win one.. I will make you do the whole thing in Sound Recorder. That's a joke, probably.

My vote goes to:
Vox Monkey

Had to quote you, Vox. I was gonna suggest if people post their top 10, or 5, or even 3, they should try to include a link to the track beside their name.

I try to listen to every submission and sometimes I miss a few, so that's a great way to allow others to catch up on ones they may have missed as well.

Just a suggestion.

Peace.

i'm very new here so i mean no disrespect but can someone please help me understand how a beat that is 3:11 is getting votes. does the time limit not really matter?

if that's the case, I vote Loupo2
