we had some offers for a headphone collaboration last year. we listened to all of the headphones, as well as DJ headphones from people who weren't offering, and the best one on the block was AIAIAI's TMA-1. We're proud to announce a collaboration with them for their new version of the TMA-1: Stones Throw edition DJ headphone

I like the purple, not a fan of the logo outside ears though. I'd buy them if $100, current price way too much lol

Pretty much same thing as Fool's Gold's version

Purple is actually my favorite color, but 220 before shipping is A LOT of vinyl/drugs/lube I could be buying.

Too bad there's no way to hear the quality of a product that costs upwards of $220.00 before I invested in it, unless the only difference was that it had a stones throw logo on it I can try them out at Best Buy. Looks like I'll be hunting down the vinyl that comes with the headphones on discogs in the near future. Great packaging for 92 & 93 sleeves.

haha the funniest part is that I momentarily weighed the pros and cons of spending 220 bucks just to get that dope 7". obviously, the cons weigh more.

Yeah, the vinyl will probably go for $30-50 bucks on discogs at first, then go down to $15-20 in a year or so...remember how expensive and exclusive that Homeboy Sandman/Jaylib remix 7" was at first?

http://www.discogs.c...release/4093174

Hunting the vinyl down should be waayy cheaper and easier to find in time. The hardest stones throw albums to find are Madlib's seasonal suites and that Dj Rels LP IMO.

Wow, I need to grab that Jaylib/Sandman one

Also, I had no idea it was hard to find the seasonal suites. I have both and don't collect CD's at all, might throw those on Discogs eventually.

I check discogs almost every other day and I rarely see the seasonal suites up. I never see them on ebay at all either. I have a sealed copy of fall and summer suite, but that's just just because I worship that spiritual music. Hence my alias.

The FG ones are little more because they come with a special feature in which Danny Brown randomly interrupts your music, screams something, and then calls you a chump.

To anyone thinking about these, maybe a good deal here:

Using this coupon http://ughh.com/coup..._Perforated.jpg here http://ughh.com/aiai.../AIAIAI06808HP/

I just got some new M50x headphones on the way so I'm still gonna pass on these.

i like the look of em, but the specs are low quality.

Technical Specifications:

• Transducer Principle: Dynamic, closed
• Driver Unit Size: mm
• Impedance: 32±15% Ohm
• Load Rating: 0.1W
• Frequency Response: to 20.000 Hz
• Total Harmonic Distortion: 0.3%
• Sensitivity: 103±3dB Weight w/o
• Shipping weight: 3lb

0.3% harmonic distortion is not something i would pay $220 for. and the lack of frequency response/driver specs is alarming.

these are $70 headphones that have a stones throw label on them. imo, id put that money towards a real pair of headphones (denon d2000, grado rs2, akg 701, sennheiser HD)

not trying to hate on em, but i guess i just did :(
