Since so many people feel so passionately about his interviews, If you were to interview madlib, what questions would you ask?

I'd wonder what other jobs has he worked that's influenced his beat making persona.

What project would you re make and why?

What's your thought process behind completing an album

I can live with those questions, quite well. You already killed the topic with your most appropriate questions.

The problem with most of his interviews is that they ask him the same questions or bring up the same stuff over and over and over and over again. ynqhead's questions are already better than a lot of those asked in these interviews.

For me I'd love to know the story behind that Lootpack Toyota ad. Wonder how much they got paid and if he still has that beat somewhere. I definitely am not a journalist and wouldn't be a good interview person, but would love to see someone like Nardwuar interview him.

Are you left handed drummer playing on a right handed drum kit? or right handed drummer and just leading with your left?

I must know the answer, cause madlib inspired me to play left handed on the drums depite my right handedness.

he has seemingly had sample clearance issues with roy ayers on both quas albums, the original version of come on feet that had to be changed, and the dc city sample that got left off of further adventures

i think the project was just him covering a bunch of ayers tunes YNQ style, like the stevie album, i don't believe roy was involved with it at all, not totally sure though

I don't think he had a problem-he utilized a sample on FA of Lord Quas.

I've interviewed a few different Hip-Hop artists/producers and I'd LOVE the chance to speak with Madlib!!

I like to go in depth on a certain album or project, like I did with Prince Paul when I spoke to him here... http://www.stonesthr...l=&fromsearch=1

So I'd probs go in depth about the making of the Champion Sound album or maybe the Medicine Show series, etc.

I'd love to speak with Oh No too, that would be nuts!!

Cheers!

the main reason i asked is because i remember reading an interview with RA and Madlib where they discussed said project (stevie-esque project) so it confused me as to why it never saw the light of day

any chance it ends up on the web like the azymuth covers??

also, what is the original come on feet with a roy ayers sample??

shit, i never read an interview that was him and roy, i just remember one (or two?) interviews where he mentions projects he had done, and that was one of them, as for a leak, who knows, i wouldn't count on it though

and i can't find any audio for the original version of come on feet, but if all else fails find the original come on feet 12" single, it's on there, different loop, same drums, same rap.....also featured on the DJ troubl journey into fresh diggin quas mix too if you can find that

- approximately how much shrooms did you ingest during the alleged "month-long" period you were working on the last Quas album?

- have you ever gotten too high?

- will you ever get some sleep?

- have you and a friend ever sat down to play madlibs?

- what does Daniel Dumile look like without the mask on?

- what ten records would you choose to listen to for the rest of your life if you were on a deserted island?

- does Egon brush his teeth?

- whatever happened with Lord Infamous? will we ever hear him?

- i looped up an obscure German band with a west-coast drum kit--does that mean i'm as good as you now?

- was Sun Ra for real?

- will there ever be a Madlib movie?

- who are your top five worst MC's and producers?

- why didn't Kanye West use any of your beats on that one project 3 years ago?

- would you be mad if i grabbed a couple LP's that are just lying around that i know you'll never getting around to even looking at?

thank you, it's been a pleasure Otis.
