I recently cracked open my last 5L jar of Moby Hash from my 2011 harvest. It lasted this long 'cause I didn't like the taste much back then, but after 3 years curing in a glass jar it has turned into the nicest weed I've ever had. Definitely feels stronger too.

This year I've planted a few different strains, cheese, blue cheese, power kush, pineapple chunk and tangerine dream plus a couple of cbd-rich strains which i'm lookng forward to trying for their pain relief and anti-insomnia properties. Just praying for good weather between now and october 15th to ensure a weighty harvest, mould can be a crop-killer in a climate like we have here.

YUUUUUP!

is the O-Pen considered a good purchase?  there are a few diff brands floating around out there right now, and i wanna get one of them but i'm not sure which one is the "best" as far as consumer-grade products are concerned?  oils are so much better to deal with as far as asthmatics go, but i haven't really done the research yet to make an educated decision.

if i was ever bestowed the opportunity to name a new strain, i'd name it "I Don't Know"...so that when people asked what it was, they'd get a very confusing answer.

"What's the name of this shit again?"

"I don't know,"

that or "Phyuck Yiu"

Never grown anything before but planted a lemon haze seed around 20 days ago (outdoors) to see if it could grow in this English weather!

Only fed it water as it hasn't rained much lately

^it's a bit late in the season to be planting, but you might get a bit of bud off it if you treat it really nice. It'll start to need some feeding soon - something organic specific for flowering. The pot's a bit small too, but it'll be fine for this year. too late to transplant really anyway. Don't be discouraged though, just sow your seeds earlier in the summer next year (i'd say late june at the latest, earlier for bigger plants - depends on how stealthy you need to be). Also you'll find it's less hassle to plant directly into prepared ground if you have the space - in pots you need to water/feed much more often, much more work but it can be worth it if you think you might have to move/hide plants at some point.

There's loads of info on the internet, mostly about growing indoors under lights, but you'll also find plenty about growing outdoors. Here's a few site worth peeping:

http://www.dutch-pas...st-time-grower/

http://www.uk420.com...howtopic=215007

http://www.cannabis....great-outdoors/

I'm in Spain but I live in the far north, in view of the Atlantic, so it's hardly the hot arid climate you might imagine, I dunno where you are in the UK but conditions probably aren't that different here, just a bit warmer is all. In fact it's probably drier in East Anglia than here! Anyway, I sow my seeds on 4/20 every time and the biggest is around 3m tall now. I'll post some pics in a few weeks when the buds are worth showing off. Good luck with it and if you need any more advice, just ask. I'm not the most expert grower but I've been doing it for around 15 years or so, both in the UK and here, so I know a bit and I'm more than happy to help. I'm not addicted to weed but I am addicted to growing it!

Truly appreciate all the info man! I did think it was too late in the season but i got high one day and decided to let it loose lol I wasn't expecting to grow this much so soon.

Thanks for the heads up I've just ordered some plant magic old timer organic grow

http://www.plant-mag...s/oldtimer.html

I was thinking of re potting to a bigger size too or do you think it's too late now?

Yeah post up your buds when you harvest!

ay Sunny, you ever try Girl Scout Cookies?

i'm probably getting some tomorrow from Frosted Leaf off of like 44th and Feds or something like that, they're running a sale on it.

i've heard very good things about it, cause that's what Kevin Smith is usually smoking for his podcast Hollywood Babble-On...

^ I haven't tried it but noticed it at the dispensary I was at last week. I thought the name was a little corny, like most strains, but I'll cop it the next time I see it.

What do y'all prefer sativas or indicas? I'm more of a sativa man myself.

Are you guys barely getting gsc in Colorado?!? I've been smoking that shit for like three years. Probably my favorite strain honestly. Very 'happy' weed. Can be very 'stony' though

Sunny, I'm an indica smoker mainly. Sativa's usually make me paranoid and anxious

GSC is something of a legend, I'd love to try it out and I'd love to get my hands on some legit seeds to try growing it, seems it not that easy to find the real thing though. However if anyone gets a 'Fortune Cookie' they can send some seeds my way and earn my eternal gratitude!

http://www.hightimes...l-scout-cookies

I usually smoke hybrid strains, I'm restricted to what will grow well outdoors here, if a strain is too indica, it finishes nice and early but the buds are too dense and tend to get mould, if it's too sativa it takes too long to finish properly and goes mouldy in the cold wet autumn anyway. Around 50/50 Sativa/Indica seems to work well for me, good spectrum of stoned effects too.

btw i got one of these for my birthday: http://www.magic-flight.com/

truly amazing bit of kit for the price, incredibly effective at fucking me up.

Also tastes amazing (Well at least after the first week when it just tasted of burnt wood and I very nearly sent it back in disgust, now I'm so glad i was patient). Weed goes a long way in it too, once you get the knack of not over-cooking it.

i love hybrids, but usually the more sativa-dominant it is the better, at least for me.  it's been a long while since i've smoked a straight up indica (although the Grunk i just got a few weeks ago does qualify as a heavy indica), so i can't really speak to the sleep aid and pain relieving effects it's allegedly supposed to have...

i wanna move into hash oil pens soon, i have my eye on those O-Pens they're selling in our dispensaries but i'm not too sure how reliable they are quality-wise.  i just like the idea of not having to place my Pax in a sealed Tupperware container every time i go to class, it seems like it'd be so much easier to just have oils that don't really smell like weed compared to actual ground-up buds in a non-smellproof vape the size of an iPhone.

You know jf I actually quit smoking cigarettes about a year ago. Along with cigs went my bong lungs so I've been hitting that vape oil, and I highly recommend it for you. Super dope, discreet. If you can find cartridges from 'pop naturals' they're great

oil pens are the best but dont get the o.pen brand oils. they are the weakest and dont taste good. my favorite of the 5 i have tried so far is the eureka.

I also recommend getting the battery online or in a vape shop. in CA it is much cheaper.

you can refill all of the carts i have had until the little burner dies but i have not been able to find any shops that sell the oil without one. thats where its at though, if you can find it. im pretty sure you can smoke that oil in most e cig setups.

at the dispensary i went to today they were selling this $20 pen that you fill with your own hash oil...

forget what it's called, i'll do some research on it.

but yeah, i'm leaning towards getting something like that one.

still need to do research though to find out where the balance of quality/price levels out.

the Pax was a bit on the expensive side...more than i paid for my 404 haha.

i'm hopeful that i can get a top of the line pen for less than $100 if most of the decent-quality ones are in the $20 range...
