Here is our latest Out Da Box Radio interview with the Yancey Boys, which features an in-depth conversation with Frank Nitt and Illa J about their new group album with the legendary J. Dilla entitled "Sunset Blvd". The group also shared stories about their experiences with Dilla, and Frank explained how Jay Dee pushed him and Dank to work harder by putting them through bootcamp, Illa also spoke on the comparison's he's received due to his legendary older brother, and gave insight into his individual strengths and future goals as an artist. They also take the time to delve into the mission for the album as well as how the collaborations all came together for the project. Some really insightful convo here for about an hour and a half, for fans of Good Hip Hop and true Dilla supporters.

Thanks for sharing. Sunset Blvd is a great album, think it's better than the first Illa J record (though I liked that one too)

No doubt! The vibe to this album is so much more fun and easy flowing. Thanks for checking the interview out!

Purchased the instrumentals, may have to purchase the actual LP because of Talib Kwelis verse! Hot shit.
