Zone is one of the coolest dudes I've ever linked up with. I highly recommend going through all of his work if you don't know about it, and his book is straight the fuck up funny as hell, but with a ton of straight talk. Dude is dude.

So my first discogs order was a total bust. Got my money back from paypal and negged the guy(never sent it but said he did then stopped replying to my messages and I waited a month). Anyone have a copy of experienced they would sell me?

all my dealings have been good, but I have gotten some pretty beat up records from eBay. One man's NM is a another man's VG...

Finally found a copy of experienced. Ridiculous! Although short, made me wish there was a volume 2 or something.

I got out my copy of J-zone instrumentals volume 4 and finally ripped it so I can listen at work(It has the stoney lodge beat on it, Fire!). Gonna try to get a couple other albums going while I'm at it.

this shit stoopid.

I really hope you mean stoopid as in talent and sick skills being amazing, and not some silly childish, "he's shit" point of view, that sample roulette thing is amazing and inspirational, El-P, Marco Polo, loads of others

Got his breaks pack that he has done, they are so dope, dude is a dam good drummer. And the more I really listen to this new album of his, the more amazing it gets. I really don't think this is getting half the praise it actually deserves, I love the honesty of how this is all made on broken bits of equipment.

I think he meant it in a good way man. No one in their right mind would be able to call that stupid in an insulting way.

Music for Tu Madre has one of the best album covers ever, and that record and Pimps Don't Pay Taxes are so underrated, it is ridiculous. I can't imagine making something so dope and then not having it go very far. I think a lot of producers probably listened to J-Zone, bit his style and made some money..
