For real!!! I can hardly believe this is actually happening.

On a whole other note, I absolutely love the fact that aside from a couple videos of Snoop and Damon playing together at a few shows there was never any kind of hype or announcement that they officially were working on a project. The Madlib and any potential collaborators should take note of that strategy, rather than announce a collaboration before any songs have even been recorded.

I am crazy excited to hear this. The leak has dropped but I'm waiting to buy it. I just wish it weren't 8 tracks deep. This is something that deserved a whole LP's worth of material lol.

Never really been a fan of Snoop's music (sounds like a cool dude otherwise) but this has sounded pretty good so far. I wonder if there will be instrumentals in the future

Also, it's cool to see an ST release getting so much mainstream hype (lol @ pic from ST's FB, not this much hype yet)

Word. With the recent Aloe Blacc hit, I was working and the track came on the radio and I was thinking "Damn, that dude came up finally."

This album is really good. Congrats to everyone involved. Snoop sounds better than he did in a looong ass time

Aloe also has a song playing in some big video game commercial recently. Call of Duty, or Battlefield or something. Some next Gen, epic game. So big time stuff.

Aloe's song is on the BF4 ads (Eminem is on CoD). Think his big hit that got him pretty popular was when I Need A Dollar was in the intro of that old HBO show though.

Was surprised to see so few entries for the video contest (http://www.stonesthr...k-video-contest), decided to enter my own crappy video (Shout out to you guys at the end lol)

Best entry so far is this one:

There has to be some good video dudes around here somewhere, someone here has to have a good chance of winning some money and a boxset imo

Yeah I was thinking you'd be doing something since I think you are in school for this kinda stuff? If you look at the other entries (including mine especially lol) you'll see the bar is pretty low right now. With $1000 or $200 on the line (plus a box set!) I'd think it'd be worth entering.
