thanks to all who posted it.

And anybody familiar with that unreleased Jaylib that Benji B played during the first hour? Trying to remember if I've heard that somewhere before.

depends on which version you're listening to I guess but if you mean the full 2 hour one then 1:16:00 is LMNO

So hyped to hear some of that Madlmno! Oh No tweeted a few years back that they have at least a whole album's worth of material recorded.

It's crazy to think that J. Rocc teasing those tracks was way back in 2009. Then Papermill in 2010. Then Avalanche/Victory Laps in 2011... How many tracks have we heard at least snippets of by now...6? Hard to believe no rookie members have popped up to ask "where's the new madvillain?" on this round. I guess even they know what's good by now.

I'm really digging this new transparency Madlib is showing. We're in for a great 2014. With Pinata, to RocK Konducta, to the 6 new Beat Konductas he mentioned, another Beat Konducta In India, hopefully the release of the Mos Def collab next year. Really glad to hear this mix too.

The whole sorry saga:

09/2009 - Videos of Mos Def chilling with DOOM/rapping Meat Grinder from memory surface, Yasin confirms his involvement in the MV sequel, goes on to perform with DOOMposters (almost bought a ticket to the DOOM/Mos show at Nokia Theater in NYC in Jan '10, but it was cancelled), stops speaking about the project by mid-'10.

10/2009 - J. Rocc on East Village Radio gives us snippets of Savior Beans, Avalanche, and Untitled #1 ("I sip a hot tea, watching Archie flip on Meathead"), blowing minds after a 4 year dry-spell following Monkey Suite.

12/2009 - J. Rocc on BBC 1XTRA plays longer version of Savior Beans, further cementing the illusion of an almost-complete project.

Early 2010 - Travis 911 snippet leaks, Stones Throw carpet-bombs internet in response.

05/2010 - Papermill is put out for Adult Swim Singles with the cryptic explanation "Papermill is the first release from the new MV album which DOOM & Madlib began recording in 2009" (A few weeks before, Madlib does those few little Adult Swim interviews, confirms Mos Def has recorded a dope verse for the project)

01/2011 - PBW's "ST 2011" podcast, advertised as "mix of current & ongoing projects", hits us with a snippet of Avalanche for the second time and cock-teases Victory Laps as a MV track, which was subsequently snatched up by Nature Sounds and labelled the only complete single from the (also potentially imaginary) DOOMSTARKS LP. This mix-up, if that's what it was, is never fully explained.

11/2013 - The Madlib invades BBC 1XTRA and drops the full length version of Avalanche (with minimal obnoxious radio SFX), and Untitled #2 ("Yeah, yeah, cheers/chug a few of these hot beers"), just enough to stoke the fires for another 2 years, at which time J Rocc will be dispatched to a radio station in a foreign nation and leak another partial song and the HQ version of Savior Beans.

Where my numerologists at to decipher this and extrapolate the release date? 2021?

Ha ha!! copyright flagged on sample based music, I will never understand that. Nicely done with the download link, I now have it if it keeps getting taken down. I did find that bit in the interview interesting, about Madlib getting sued for sample clearance, and people sourcing his samples. I suppose in his eyes it should be like magicians revealing their tricks to a closed circle, instead of every kid wanting to be the next madlib dropping him in it. From that Interview I felt there is no MV2, the stuff we haven't heard before we have no idea how old the tracks are. MV is just a one off really.

I missed this part of the interview. Can someone hook me up or point me to where I can find the aforementioned beat konductas.

You do realize of all that music only one thing is slated for an upcoming release? Most of those projects will either never see the light of day or will be released in years to come. I don't plan on seeing that Beylib album for a good three or four years.

another Beat Konducta In India

i don't think he meant another Beat Konducta in India; i took it as another Beat Konducta in ________ (some other nation/state/city/country) project, like Canada or Helsinki or something.
