Maybe I'm a bit slow tonight, but can you elaborate what you mean with the special objective "mix applied"?

I just want to say equilibrated mix no over compressed and aggressive mix down ( in therm of high frequency ;) )

Today is a day of S.L.Benfica vs Sporting (big derby)! so today is not a day to start.

That guitar in the first looks like a fado tune. maybe i wiil put some amalia or something like that. the second, the real groove. nice choise!
next time lets start give .wav(e)'s. not mp3 to wave. Real wav file. I normaly make my beats just with one sample or two, and from them i make my own drums, and other sounds, and give the quality that i want. with mp3 files transcripts to wave what i hear on mp is not the same with one sample "always wave". do you got? i understand that with all DAW's that exist today, perhaps this is not a problem for you but with this i need use the only DAW that i have. Clap your hands for Format Factory!!! make beats from a mp3 sound source was never a good choise.

in terms of compress depends of the feel that anyone wants to give. High frequency, i know what you say. in some beats i needed to get the treble lower to not fuck my ears!

With all due respect, but are you sure you want to stick to the "Mix Appled" category???

Bacause:

1. Who desicides which Beat is mixed (well)? What are the specifics? More or less compression cannot be a factor. The overall tonal balance is more important than compression ratios and what not.
2. Since mixing is a on WHOLE other Level than "just" making a beat, a lot of contestant definitely would fail that test. This is not a diss to anybody, it just needs A LOT of experience to Produce a tight track on your own, that youe even mix that well.
3. Who cares about a well-mixed beat. If it is either banging or it is not.
4. Who even has the proper set-up and ears to judge what a dope mix is - I bet a lot of us these beats on tiny headphones on our smart phones.

Just some thoughts to consider. Thanks for the samples. Checking them out now. PEACE

Yes, there is no rule in mixing the most important is the banging. That's what I think to.

I like the sample selection this week. Imma put something together. As far as mixing goes that's my weakest point, but I will try my best.
