I think he played all of the instruments on "Angles Without Edges."
There are/may be collabs on certain tracks from other albums (should be noted),
but for the most part he is the "1 Man Orchestra."

(Check out the Alias's Tee for a good reference as to most projects/artists/groups/etc.....)

On the AWE album he does sample some stuff and plays other stuff. Don't get it twisted, as much as The Madlib would like you to think its all him there are definitely other people lending their hand to the YNQ/YNU records. I know JJ has even played on at least one song; pretty sure it's on the Blue Note album. Even his latest albums may have some samples throughout. I remember ynqhead saying he noticed some basslines on the YJR LP that he was certain were courtesy of the Loopdigga.

Someone who isn't too familiar with what has become Yesterdays Universe might think so but you need to go back and study your history. The Madlib asked Wolf to buy him a bunch of instruments instead of paying him an advance after the success of The Unseen. He spent a couple years teaching himself how to play everything and that was over a decade ago. I'm pretty certain the guy is talented enough to be beyond fiddling around at this point.

Was trying to remember where I heard this from. According to PBW way back in 05 Madlib doesn't do much with horns/guitar. I'd imagine almost everything else on those YNQ era records was Madlib
