Alright, I want a good clean fight...no pushing, shoving, gouging, biting, licking (eww), or using weapons. Now let's get it on!

Rules

  • fuck rules, there are none

Posted beat by Thursday, Voting ends on Saturday @ 11:59pm (Eastern Time...or Euro time, depending on however Hungryman wants to do it). This should be buckets of fun.

Dang! That's quick man. I struggled with this all afternoon yesterday. Finally got it in a headlock. Probably gonna take the rest of the week, so keep on polishing. ;)

i guess so, haha. i don't feel very official though...i thought they would've had someone call me into an office or something and show me the Kennedy assassination from the POV of the grassy knowle. then they would've given me a care package with Madvillainy Acapellas, J Dilla's Kraftwerk-sounding album, Jonwayne's Burkenstock, a lock of Dudley Perkin's hair and one of Gary Wilson's blow-up dolls.

i sampled it directly off of my netflix, then uploaded the raw .wav file with a little bit of extra sounds on both ends so that we could use them to chop up for drums, vocal interludes, fx, etc.

Care Package........right I will write up a risk assessment, a behaviour plan with triggers that don't help and coping mechanisms to aid you, a personal care plan, make sure you get the training you need, and supervision once a week, must be a Person centered approach with your needs coming first, your behaviour will have to be monitored, and have meetings about your progression, and then there's finding out who your social worker will be and who will fund this, and which part of social services will be paying for this whole package. We also need to work out some short term targets and long term targets, we'll get your file sorted.

short term target = stop masturbating long enough to make a decent track.
long term target = Dolla$, PayPuh$, dat Scrill@...

goddammit, we need some voting in this thread. stop being lethargic people, you showed up to all the previous 1 on 1 battles and gladly spoke about those beats; then when Hungryman and I decide to step up everyone scatters off to something else and ignores us...boo i say.

Oh, that's funny JF ...I don't recall you voting on my and Mutes battle? :P

We only had five votes btw...

Both your songs have nice soundquality, variation and are fun!...
Would liked to have heard more of the Dexter and DeeDee skit stuff in there though... that's just me...

Anyway... No first impression clear cut winner for me...
So I'll take a little more time to scrutinize each of the tracks before I come to a decision...

fair enough. i did listen to 'em though ;) i could've sworn you guys had way more than 5 though...guess i thought wrong haha.

its all in good fun, idgaf if we don't get any votes...but then again, how will we ever know who won if nobody bothers to vote or even leave feedback? that's all i'm sayin'.

Right so no votes is a trigger and people running off Ill add it to the file, gonna check when I get to work tonight, you guys checked the samples for 342 Oh boy!! Man of Hunger you need 500 posts to be an official then you qualify for the care package, unfortunately you don't qualify for funding as of yet. :P

So...thought HM's slow part lasted too long... but JF went too long without changing up....

Gonna go with the HUNGRY go Lucky vibe

Ah man, I'm gonna have to spam to get to 500. lmao. Yeah James, maybe we should have talked some trash, you know controversy sells and all. Hate to see these 1-on-1's fizzle out so quick.

well, congrats Hungryman-- well deserved, that beat was ill...you took my challenge of a sample and still murdered it haha.
as for me, i think by now it's been proven beyond a shadow of a doubt that no one on these boards is ever going to send a vote my way for anything lol; i don't even know why i kept any hope this time around, i should've known i would lose 4-0. oh well...at least i get to do a show this thursday ;)

Thanks for the votes and thanks for the challenge. I think it could have went either way with more votes. Hopefully someone will keep these 1-on-1's going. Hell yeah rock that show, James. :)

yeah, definitely.
fyi to the rest of the community, i'm also open to doing a more complexly-structured battle next time around-- where both challengers would make their own beat and then rap over it...basically a track battle instead of a beat battle. but i also know there aren't many of us on here that do both; the only one i can really think of off the top of my head is J0ndis, actually...but if anyone else wants to feel free to hit me up in a few weeks. i gotta recover from the beating i suffered this round and let my wounds heal first
