New EP from Damu. He's definitely creating a discography to rival most top producers. What do you think of him and/or this release. Listen for free or purchase here:

Beat Grinder would be a definite must-own.

Blizzard on this EP has been my shit since I got it. I read somewhere that this is a preview of a 75+ track instrumental LP. Hope that's true but we all know how announcements rarely become official announcements but I have faith in the Fudgemunk.

I was feeling Damu when I first got turned in to him in '09. Dude drops waaaaaaaay too many releases though so I just tune out because I get too overwhelmed with how much product is available. Same think with KNX, I stopped paying attention to all his six track bandcamp releases he puts up every other day.

I feel like Damu only releases things every few months at most, this EP is his first official release in over a year and it's only 7 tracks. Where are you looking? Because if there's a large collection of his stuff I don't know about I'd be pretty pumped. Even if he releases things way to frequently it's tough to knock the quality, much better than knx in my opinion but I like boom bap more than the electronic abstract stuff that many people are doing now.

Damu definitly doesn't release too much. You could say Knx releases too much, but then again most of his releases have a short running time. The new Overstand B Side runs 17 minutes.

checked it out today. definitely a change in sound for Damu. sounds like more SP1200 than MPC on the EP. drums hit a little harder.
