I am done making estimations. But, this sway is a bit of a sellout--I never really gave him any legitimacy. This Kanye thing is just a troll ordeal. The more soundbites generated the better. No conspiracy.

Just from a musical standpoint alone, I would have to say that he is untalented. I guess I have always ridiculed artists for turning their back on their core audience--which in this day and age means nothing at all.

You millenials win. No need to purchase vinyl--no need to know anything at all as it is all one click away.

Hype machines were built over night. I have been living on God's green earth long enough to recognize that things can change instantaneously.

His concentration on his race sort of perplexes me. I mean, it was his people who were his core audience. Then he just blew up--but I cannot call what he did--music.

Musicians' music careers (assuming they are pop-like him) never really go away. Even if he is put on ice for 10 years by the powers that be--they will bring him back.

I have a hard time liking someone like him when I have heard real jazz greats and seen them transfer their style to meet record company exec needs.

I guess this multimillionaire demographic is a hard one to understand.

So many people in this world were talking about keeping it real, but were just lying.

Made a call on behalf of these forums to the Beast's people and he made this vid regarding his opinion on K.West--I asked for a dedication, but he did not have enough time I suppose--I stand by his opinion. It is evident that unlike myself, the Beast had other good music to attend to so he only became aware of Kanye in 04. Good for him--check out his newest thoughts:

( Now..... a faggot is not a cuss to the homosexual society, it does not mean gay, it means weak of mind, no views of your own every view is copied or borrowed, a complete armchair activist, that would throw their own kids in-front of them in the line of fire, a total pussy you would shove out the way, as they would put your life and existence at risk, it's also a kind of meatball, so if this is meant to be a similarity of a bollock, and if that relates to being gay then that still doesn't make any sense, thought I'd set that straight before the next post tries to claim I'm homophobic, through confused viewpoints triggered by their left hemisphere, in the box reactions) In fact!!! next person just start a new thread on something thrilling and captivating.

i agree. i don't use the word 'faggot' very often, just because i'm self-aware and not a complete asshole, but i like to keep ugly words like that on reserve in my verbal arsenal just in case-- i like knowing that i can use it at any time. and to me, i've never meant it to denote a homosexual. every instance i've ever seen it used has been synonymous with a douchy, inconsiderate, ignorant, willfully unpleasant person-- and that's my definition for it. i'm all for gay rights, but i'm sick of these PC crusades over words by every single special interest group telling us what we can and cannot say, and what things should cost us our jobs regardless of when/where/why/what/who/how or any other context; it's fucking bull-cunt-faggot-meecrob-shit.

This is what I thought was funny. Basically Sway pussies out about it and now's trying to make a quick buck.

Fag/faggot seems to have changed in meaning in recent times, but it is kind of funny when people get upset with others being homophobes and then acknowledge using the slur.

lmao, can't believe you got the beast to do that

Besides all the "swagfag" talk, can't say I'd argue against many of his points lol. I wouldn't say Kanye was never talented (he was a fine producer), but when he picked up the mic it all went to shit.

Yeah the beast did a good job. He is in control of his haters. They do not bother him. I reached out when I saw all of the abject hate spewed his way. I may have gotten soft over the years--but seeing so much hate on a video bothers me a bit...turns out he is a fine lad that has had a few setbacks like others...I like that he does not mince his words and stands up for his points. I can understand why he romanticized the jiggy years. He is entitled to do so--even if I am not the biggest fan of the music. He likes big cars, too. I cannot say I am from the same school, but if it makes the kid happy--so be it. Life is an uncertain entity. She may as well keep you warm with thoughts of times when you were happy and carefree.

If it wasn't for the demeaning way he was talking about the ladies in his other vids I would have felt bad poking fun at the guy. If he'd stop talking about that and the weird "swagfag" thing he talks about so much his vids wouldn't be all that worse than other people who do these kind of opinion YT videos.

Interesting. I could be mistaken but to engender such vile comments from the internet gentry--one would have to really be a bit talented in some way. I think it is that he lives as he does and likes what he sees in the mirror. Everyone should be so lucky to do the same. I think what attracted me to his video was his ability to tell the swag dudes where to go. He is easy chum for them--but, after all the things that they said he called them out nicely I thought. And I caught the vid where he gets back at them for making fun of his mother (who had passed). I do not think that I ever before saw such mean posts about anyone--ever. He seemed unaffected, so I found some heroic nature in him.

i have no problem defending my occasional use of the word 'faggot' because like i just explained, i'm not using it as an offensive term to homosexuals. there's a huge difference between me calling some guy cutting me off on the highway and then sharply slamming on his breaks a slur and someone truly espousing hatred or malaise toward someone because of their explicit or implied sexuality, MWBOOGIE, and you know it.

words change, that's how language works; that's how the word 'faggot' came around to being a slur for gays in the first place, it used to mean an abusive woman, a heretic, and a bundle of sticks.

http://www.oed.com/v...try/Entry/67623

as for the beast's video, i couldn't be bothered to watch it lol. good for him that he sticks up for his beliefs, but i don't have to like him just because he might have issues and not a lot of friends...

Its all your choice. But, your words do seem to waiver. In reality the word itself is bad--didn't Eminem get into some hot water over it?

Deep down, I do fell sorry for some people that they cannot live a life that they so desire to live...pretty sad in all reality. I do not care how anyone tries to live--but, I would hope that what used to be called the 'traditional family' could somehow exist. I find the my two dads/moms ordeal a bit odd personally. I think I am entitled to my opinion.

You do not have to watch the beast's video--just recognize that someone may be in need of a friendly nudge once in awhile. It could make a difference. As you get older, friends are a lot harder to come by.

Frankly I don't really care about it's use, I'm not really all that offended by free speech. It's just ironic when basically it comes down to "stop being a homophobe you faggot"

That was pretty funny. Too much attention has been granted/given to the gay lobby. Of course, I cannot quantify this--but I can say that there is a move away from the traditional family and family values in the US at least. They are the one people you cannot say anything about, these days. Sadly, they are a protected class; however, those that have some kind of disability are not a protected class. Just some of the fun ways that we have altered our interpretation of a document that came from jolly ole England.

On another note: Found this on my twinkletoestwitter feed. Banksy sells his meat at Walmart-coming to a Big Box near you: https://twitter.com/...2/photo/1/large

Question--

I noticed that on his appearance on the Jimmy Kimmel show Kanye was speaking in a weird non-urban accent.

I immediately presumed that he had gone all out gay. I just realized that he had been doing this thing for a while now.

In the Kimmel interview his wrists were kinda limp. I am not sure how someone's voice changes so very abruptly.
Man the life of the celebrity must really suck.

It could be something that just happens to any man who enters the enormously high estrogen levels of the Kardashian family. Just look at all the men in that household. Something wired happens to them. Rob got fat. Lamar smoked crack. Bruce wants to be a woman and Kanye is now in that enviroment so something is bound to happen!
