Just got the vinyl. They included a note that the CD will ship separately. In case anyone wanted to know.

I'm glad that there is no difference. I'm still going to buy the CD. I have everything ripped from vinyl but the sound is a little quiet. I either need to put it all back in audacity and increase the volume or buy the CD or digital. I'll buy the CD for the different packaging.

14 more tracks would have been a welcome gift no matter the form.

nah, fuck it, I'm remembering how much hassle it was to digitise 26 tracks from the first vinyl, I'm with Abracadaver - happy to have the cd to save myself the time and just rip it loud n direct in itunes. Thanks for the oh-so-generous offers though guys, really too kind.

Yeah a lot of these are too easy.  Great tracks though.

Same for me. I'm pleasantly surprised they didn't just wait for the CD before sending, what with shipping costs to Spain and all. Having said that, I don't suppose it can cost much to send a CD anywhere.

I didn't get chance to listen properly yet, I'll probably have to find an excuse to stay in the house tomorrow morning.

I see why the track list took him so long now. A couple of title switches/changes too. Stumbling (Cobblestones) and Welcome (The End) are nowhere to be found on the list. Licorice (The Beginning) is divided up too!

UGHH is listing 52 tracks, all with snippets. No names though...and cd saying it's 48.

So this is the third Konducta with messed up tracklisting, after India and 5-6? Africa was ok, I think.

...and time continues endlessly... Need this album.

I think of RK1 & RK2 as 4 tracks: Sides 1 through 4.

They're doing that loose-paper insert thing they did with the medicine show CDs. I ended up cracking my #13 open and cutting up/inserting the spine/back cover myself. Sealed it up and it almost looks like it came that way. Blank spines activate my rare OCD

WTF?! It that to save money? I thought they only did it to the brick of MM CDs... (I was late to that party, so I bought them all at once)

I'm pretty sure that's the aestithic that Invazion is going for with most of their CD releases; I think Piñata Beats has the same thing going for it. And I'm sure they save some cash on it, but remember this is a very independent operation so every penny saved for something else in the future is a good thing for us fans.

it's kinda unique and interesting, but i'd guess it's an aesthetic choice stemming mainly from costs. can't blame them too much, like you say in the end pennies saved are better. my problem is that it falls off, blows down the street like a tumbleweed. and like i said the blank spine drives me batty. just want it inside that clear plastic, maybe i'll do it myself again!

When I ordered MMS1 when it first dropped in the ST store I remember my copy had a small dab of glue that was trying to hold the flap on.

ah my memory. it's all come back to me now. only other one I copped on CD was #6 but I lent it out long ago... #13 had the censored black cover, I may have just wanted to take advantage of the glory of the actual cover (mutant porn- still genius JJ) so I turned it into an arts n crafts project. I recant my complaints about tumbleweeds.

you might be right, the little dab may do ya.

I wouldn't even compare them as separate things really. Part 2 feels a little shorter, but really just a continuation of the pure awesomeness. really can't say enough good things about these two records.

Just finished listening to Part 2, definitely agree. Another excellent beat/rock konducta experience.

Wasn't feeling Vol. 2 on the first listen, but after the first 10 minutes or so this thing is pure heat.  Madlib is on some different ish altogether on this joint, loving it
