Thanks man yeah I love my SPs(notice the MPC isn't even plugged in).

Dude, that's awesome! Isn't the MPC a better sequencer though? Is it not hard to store an entire beat on a 303 or 404

For sure the MPC has a better sequencer but the 500 is a little too tedious for me and honestly anymore I just prefer Ableton over all of it and use the SPs for effects and maybe a quick beat now and then.

I won't hijack this thread any further! But thanks for the info, Ableton is something I'd love to get into.

I usually like to take a photo of my collection once a year to see how it's been growing over the years, took 2015 one today

is that the electribe emx-2? How are the synth sounds of it? most of the demos i've seen seem weird but some sounded great. It made me confused. I wanted it more like a multitimbral synth module to match my mpc 1000.

Yeah it is. I'm using it exclusively as a synth right now, I don't sequence on it or use the drums at all. I have a group in ableton with a midi channel sending midi to the electribe and then an audio track taking in the audio from it. It sounds really good, but it is a bit limited. I would say it's worth it, and it's super fun to write a progression in my daw and just be able to evolve the sound on the fly. I'd say get one. The waveforms are pretty fat.
