Gold Soul Theory changed my life...

The book he's talking about is As a Man Thinketh and The Alchemist

I read those two books recently and my whole thought process has been different.

ehh, theyre not the worst rappers ever, but i dont get the hype

flashy videos, cloud rap/trap inspired beats, and mediocre lyrical content. i dont really see a difference between these guys and someone like A$AP ROCKY or even Lil B at times

i mean "elevate. you lil niggas hella fake. im on my shit like toilets."

...

can someone enlighten me?

Did you listen to Gold Soul Theory or New New York? Or the entire mixtape at least once?

i honestly havnet. ive tried twice and i get to the 9th or 10th track before getting too bored to continue

ive never heard the words 'elevate' 'indigo' and 'third-eye' get so overused in my life.
those 3 words appear in literally every song. in some cases, several times in one track.
i genuinely believe that these kids have never had their third eye open
or even truly know what an indigo child is, because they dont represent it well.

'gold soul theory' is far to masturbatory to take seriously, and 'new new york' promotes a city/coast that most of their fans probably havent even been to before or really even care about. this is the internet age where literally anything is possible, rappers need to get out of this east coast vs west coast state of mind

like i said, there are worse rappers out there, i just dont really get why these dudes are blowin up
but this is all just my opinion,
no hate intended.

bump what you like and support what you love

peace

This isn't the second coming of Christ, but the "Beast Coast Movement" is pretty okay with the ASAP Mob, these guys, FlatBush ZOMBiES, Pro Era, Kids From Queens etc.
