I watched the whole Robert Glasper stream yesterday, at the iTunes Festival at the RoundHouse in LDN. The whole show was 2.5 hrs. Lots of guests.

But then DOOM rolls out and does FIGARO and RHINESTONE, but the more interesting topic was how they couldn't avoid mentioning that there was a Glasper x DOOM record coming. (GLOOM?) Either way, I archived the whole show to listen to but thought cats might like to hear the set.

I also think that Black Milk has/had a good thing going w/ Daru on drums and dude on keys (forget his name right now)

But I will actually agree that rare is the occasion that cats actually sound good w/ a live band. I just think that @ one point MCs wanted to get booked outside of the hip hop circuit, and knew that granola festival programmers were much more band friendly, than classic MC/DJ. But I for one love to hear than MPC bang live since most of the time, the boom bap is oft lost w/ a basic drum set.

I still recall records like HEAVY RHYME EXPERIENCE, and how disappointed I was when it dropped. Pretty meh, though it was an all star cast of cats. Sh*t. That record turned 20 this year.
