the leak on built for cuban links 2 is that rza did a lot of the production as well, but it's going to be released on after math. that's right -- after math. also -- less of ghostface on this one. CAN'T WAIT.

by the way, i am a huge wu fan -- big enough that my clothing line dropped "ice cream" tees for girls last year... peep...

Damn, rap videos were so much better back then. They reflect the music perfectly. Today they're too polished, too flashy. I love the simple filming techniques, nothing crazy just the man and his music.

Here's some more......

(Gza f/ Method Man - Shadowboxin/4th Chamber)

Lols! I haven't got that Purp-tape, but I DO have the purple cd, think I accidently swithed the purple plastic with some normal black/dark and utilized the purple one on one of my Funkadelic cdeez (Let's Take It To The Stage), lols, I felt so smart, but I have relapsed back to normal frenzified-collector-modus operantis since then, and, since peepin' the Rep Ya Tapes-thread, I now have to correct my hideous deed, henceforth!

How come I ever did that, Jeez

oh, and btw.: OB4CL is my #1 Wu-album (maybe besides 36 Chambers), so I'm in 100% agreement!
Besides Rza heavily samples all the variations af the main theme for John Woo's the Killer and so creating this spectacular mood and Synergy throughout the album - The Killer is one of my all-time favorite action flicks!
—aand the cd bonus track North Star [Jewels] is my shit, hehe!

Damn I be rambling right now, haha, bear with me

I remember Rap City heavily editing much of Raekwon's opening verse for "Glaciers of Ice" - . I had no idea that they were just censoring drug and gun references. So you can imagine how disappointed I was when I bought the cassette single and heard not a single curse word.

Masta Killah's verse on this is so atmospheric:

Proceed with caution as you enter the symphony
Degrees of pulse will increase intensely
Syndrome was caused by the deadly drums
But the battle was won by swords being swung
Slicing with a vocal
From the international vocalist
Ya style is too local to fuck with this
All fits of antagonists
No assistance
Movin motionless
Mysterious swiftness
Thoughts roll down the shaft of the brain
Mental, gives the signal to the physical
Whirlwind kicks and hits from every angle
Violent, temperments
Uncountenance dented
Poison vintage wine rhymes I invented
Chumped by the drunken punches that puncture the heart
Vital sparks from the arteries start
