To celebrate the life of the legendary hip-hop producer J Dilla, the J Dilla Foundation is getting set to release a new vinyl figure of the man. Designed by Phil Young Song, the vinyl toy encapsulates the likeness of Dilla who’s equipped with a Detroit fitted, a donut chain, a pair of Dunks and his trusty MPC. The Dilla toy is to drop later this year, so stay tuned for news.

Edit from ST Bot:

From what we hear, this is not the completed figure. Release date is unknown. This will be a release from Pay Jay, Dilla's company run by the J Dilla estate. It was designed by Sintex.

Would have been cooler without the "Dilla changed my life" shirt
Why would he be wearing that shirt? lol

Edit: Didn't see ST Bot's comment, hopefully they ditch the writing on the shirt

I look at Dilla in that pic then I look at my mpc through my My legs and just over my niggy nutsack on the table next to my bed on which I lay-and I recognize humility.

I recall selling stussy while blasting Beats, Rhymes and Life and Labcabin.

Might regret it later, but I passed on this one. Even changing the shirt, not a really big fan of the design anyway. It's too bad they didn't let someone else design it and put it out through Kid Robot like the other ST figures were.

i just need cool shit to fill up my background shots.  Toy Dilla would make a perfect companion to Diddy Kong, Chewbacca, and Toy John Lennon.
