Nah, he's not a Odd Future kid, I'm okay with their stuff. I came across a video or article which mentioned this kid who was supposed to be some new hype, his videos had a decent view count [somewhere in the 50,000's]. I've haven't heard [fortunately] anything about him since.

I like some of A$AP ROCKY's stuff, to be honest. He's not rap jesus (that's Lil B's title) but he's put out some quality ignorance. It's hard not to groove to "Purple Swag". He also said he had no idea who Aesop Rock is, and the similarities between their names are purely coincidental. ASAP is the name of his crew, and Rocky is his nickname. Everyone in his crew has ASAP in their names.

Joey Bada$$ track is cool, but I'd much rather listen to the interlude on MM..FOOD. It's more interesting.

You give people too much credit. I know dudes who are into rap that haven't heard of A Tribe Called Quest. I still have to explain to some people that De La Soul aren't Mexicans. Aesop has few claims to fame, his biggest being featured in Tony Hawk games, but he's nowhere near the league of De La or Tribe, and even they're alien to some of the newer heads.
