So I saw somewhere that people with the ST subscription have this already. For those of you who do, how is it?

Also, I don't really know Jonwayne's stuff too well. How do you all feel about him? What of his stuff is worth checking out? I dig that "Electricity" track from "Oodles of Doodles" and that track with Jonti that's on his page on the ST website.

I don't have the subscription service, but I'm eagerly awaiting Oodles of Doodles. I enjoyed the original Doodles, it was a pretty solid album. My favorite release of his is Bowser. For me it was a top 5 album last year. The Death of Andrew is pretty good as well. All three of those have a pretty similar sound.

Its good. Looking forward to a vinyl release. The size of this project is quite impressive, especially since the majority of those bonus tracks are actually very good and not just filler material. Props to the Wayniac for getting ST to put his shit out.

Saw that the CD and digital copy are available now on the site. I'm surprised that there was no official announcement made.

Yeah they don't seem to be promoting Jonwayne too much. It seems like Homeboy Sandman and Quakers have gotten more promotion, at least.

They did, just a day later. Put the order out, too. Honestly never dabbled in too much of his stuff, so I bought it based off of the support he has on these boards. I trust most of you with your musical suggestions.

Took me a few listens to appreciate but I've been listening to this at work and really diggin it. Love that it's nearly 2 hours. Props jw, now anticipating an official rap album by him. He killed it on his quakers track as many mcs did

glad someone mentioned that. I'd rather hear him spit more to be honest.
First run through Oodles i couldn't help but think of Samiyam, specially after seeing him tear it up live a few times.
i haven't been able to properly listen to Oodles all the way through due to this.

Aren't they acquaintances? They both kind of came out of the whole Low End Theory movement. Speaking of Sam Baker though, where the fuck has that little dude disappeared too? The LP dropped last year and he's been mute since the release.

a lot of these dudes are acquaintances, but still have their own sound. i think oodles sounds a bit more of it than doodles. but that's just my opinion i look at butt cheeks and make moving pictures, what do i know?
