Well I'm tired of using this shitty bass in Fruity Loops and I want sth like premo used !!! I know Dilla took a moog for his basslines. Probably Im gone get me that Moog Voyager !! But somebody knows what Premo took for his awesome basslines ????

I know but there is a bassline he often uses in different beats and it always sounds the same ^^

Anyway thanks for the answer

Preemo sliced one bass note across 16 pads on the MPC ... just gotta find that note he uses though, which is the challenge to most (including me)!!

That renaissance is nice but it seems a bit too busy for me ... there's nothing like the good ole' MPC 1000. For the most part, the MPC and Ableton Live will give you just about everything that the renaissance is gonna offer IMO

bass can be a bitch. if you rock any VSTs i recommend trilogy bass. but if you are just using an mpc, try to find 1 clean note (sampled or recorded) and put it on all 16 pads like premo.

Checked out your soundcloud page for some bass samples, but I couldn't find any though. Have you deleted the free samples set?
