Thx for the votes AND the sample. nice to try something new.. I haven´t got time to find and upload sample so if Dinobeatz is up for it!!!

Plz apply outside keys/synth allowed to rules

Synths allowed just sit tight for the sample.

(Just a quick side question I'd like to know - Is anyone using an mpc in these battles or are you all software sequencing?)

No MPC for me, but my midi keyboard has MPC style pads so I can tap out beats. Some beats on my page are all tapped out or played on the keys the whole way through with no loops. Track by track, playing one after the next. I also sequence and when I do that I try and only sequence stuff I can play, but sometimes its a exaggeration. I have a stand alone Yamaha 16-track from the late 90's, a Boss Dr-202, a Korg R-3, a Roland RS-5, my midi Axioim 49, and a ton of programs for sounds and patches like Native Instruments Komplete. The main program I use for multi-tracking and arrangement is Acid Pro 7. How about you Heavy?

Still no sample, this is an outrage. I must start chopping, will it be samples or heads. Just clowning, but really where is this sample IRMUSIC?

I picked up a q25 at guitar center for like 70 bucks, but I wasn't happy with the key action and only had a two octave range. Not ripping on it though its good for the price and great for making beats on the go with a laptop. I eventually got an axiom 49 by m-audio and Im much happier with it. I still got my q25 too. I love the midi world.

I guess? I really dont think we should mess with a post dubstep-song or any song from that album, it would be like sampling flylo cosmogramma or dilla donuts... Its too fresh , sounds too good already. At least this is my opinion. If you guys have already started working on it, i guess just roll with it, i just dont think it works, thats all.

Someone's gotta load a different sample... Has anyone started on the James Blake sample yet? Objections with using the song "Mind"? Maybe we can use two samples instead of one? Surely someone else with a vote has something they would want to load... Right?
