Any?

My good bro gave me an iPad a few months back so I started to look around @ a bunch of apps and wow... there are some pretty insane apps available right now.

I'm sure most know that Fruity Loops put one out a few months back, s/w that most are familiar with.

But there's a litany of others which are pretty strong and are getting some good reviews.

And before anyone really scoffs @ the idea, i'm sure many heard about the Gorillaz record, but more recently, ppl like Steve Spacek has been playing out some riddims created on the iPhone during Africa Hitech sets.

Some of the apps are the price of a pack of chips + Coke. Pretty wild considering what you can do. + i like the idea of the apps for the sake of laying down some inspiration on the spot.

Anyone out there playing around w/ some and if so, which??

I use isequence, nanostudio, nanoloop and drum kit pro when i'm on the road. i then record whatever i have sequenced into a real daw and go from there. at first i was real conflicted about using sounds off a fucking phone... but then i thought of all the music made on a tx81z. hah.

createdigitalmusic is a good source of everything new across different platforms - there's quite a lot of cutting edge, esoteric shit there too.
