DOOM in a recent interview:

I’m working on the JJ DOOM record, I have a bunch of instrumental tracks that I’m putting out, I’m going to test out the Masta Ace joint on there.... I got a whole bunch of stuff I’m gonna thrash on these giant Nash Money Sneaker Speakers!”

WTF is the JJ DOOM record? Plus i'm actually surprised that the Masta Ace thing wasn't all BS to be honest.

Ive long since stopped believing in TBA projects by artist, at least till i see it...especially for doom and lib. What happaened and what resonated with me is an article i read about doom; this guy has a wife and kids of varing ages from college to infantry. He is very much a family first kind of guy, which can be a reasoning behind the doomposters.

You have to think. These people have lives, families and obligations that come first over their passions. These people have kids to raise. Dont forget. Enjoy the music you love and be happy about the finished projects they complete.

When DOOM was in Australia he was rocking Pumas and at the show I went to he was making some comment after the line from Meat Grinder about the old tan Ellesses that the kicks he was wearing "are still kinda fly". Thanks man. I'm hoping to work on the next Madvillain record too (hint hint JJ!) - The HHS boards may never come back, but I'm hoping it does one day. They apparently still have all the old data so if they ever come back they'll have all the threads and posts. Fingers crossed cause I miss having access to the DOOM lyrics forum.

Yeah out of all the announced projects I'm looking forward to that new KMD album the most also. I'd like someone to ask him about it in an interview to see what he says about it. Even if he recorded some songs and not a whole album it'd be cool to hear what he did. There was supposedly Lil Sci and some other dude that was going to be a part of it, IZ-Real I believe (the dude on Pop Quiz), maybe even ID 4Windz from Scienz Of Life. The concept of the record was very intriguing.

I've always said an album with Mr Fantastik would be awesome.
