Wait, doom isn't the only one producing? Why is it called nehruviandoom?

I think maybe he meant he's not JUST producing, but will also be rapping.

two sounds about right. Honestly, I think this is back to being a 7-song EP. We've heard 1 of them.

At least the album art/packaging should be on point. That's one thing I will give LEX props for, they always come through with a sick design.

this is a random question, but does anybody happen to know if/why/for how long MF was actually in prison? Never really thought too deep on that, but I was re-reading an interview with Adam Lough, who did that "?" video back the day, where he claims that "The Mic, meanwhile, is basically an explanation of how he ended up in prison. I’ll leave the Villain to explain that one."

...which I don't really understand. I might be dumb.

Of course the main reference point is "I wrote this one in BCDC O Section, if you don't believe me go get bagged and check then, Cell #17 up under the top bunk" from Doomsday, but he doesn't talk much about it ever. Like none of his interviews mention prison time, including the massive Red Bull interview. Is it bullshit? I'd assume BCDC is baltimore city detention center but it could be another detention center. And it could be just fiction, referencing the fact that you'll never really know how true artists street cred brags are.

Bit of a late call, just wondering if any JJ DOOM instros were released/leaked. I came across the "Guv'nor" instrumental and found some dudes doing a karaoke over it somewhere, anyone know about any of the other tracks?

The Guv'nor instrumental is on one of JJ's old beat tapes from 2008.

I really don't like the skits in The Mouse and the Mask, actually the skits is what keeps it from being a very good album to me.

Perfect Hair though, went from being my least favorite song on the album, to probably the best song on the album. To me, the 2005 DOOM was just about perfect. The beat is great, the lyrics are random as hell (aside from the obvious show reference). The flow is really good, and the song is short.

I love AS so I'm still digging the skits, I wish Danger Mouse would do another project with Doom, easily my favorite collaboration outside of Madlib
