Where did he get the vocals from? It sounds like Jon Anderson from Yes, might be wrong though.

Really?! That's awesome. Tell me why you are feeling it. Because I really didn't like it. I haven't liked much of the shit he's done (not including his mixes and shit) sine his debut. BUT, I really respect him as an artist who makes what he wants to make and pushes boundries into creative territory....unfortunately, I just don't feel where he is going, personally.

So what is it about Private Press you dig so much?

..i agree the new lp is mostly shit except fev tracks..
..but what is so beautiful about private press? ..i do not know.. ..the whole feeling is like a evening at home - chilling and relaxing..
..but if you ask me what particulary i like about it, i can't give you the answer.. ..it's the whole feel of the lp!
..beautiful!
..to realize why i like shadows music you must know a bit 'bout me and the music i grew up with!
..peace!

Ohh, you elusive little minx. Don't sass us Asterikss. Just kidding, I guess I'll have to give Private Press another listen. It's about that time. I love going back to albums I previously wrote off as "bad" and giving them another listen. That is how I fell in love with air. I listened to it when I was in highschool and thought it was "okay", now I listen to their shit in awe of how amazing it is.

Sometimes life has to slap you in the teeth a couple of times in order for you to appreciate certain types of music.

i spent the extra 10?! dollars for the one that has the bonus cd that has the MPC 3 (shadow, chemist, numark) set on it, that made the album well worth it, other than that it was aight.

i hated private press when i first heard it, gave it another try a few years down the road and love it just as much as endtroducing. i do, however, not much care for the new album, i highly doubt it will grow on me.
