Lol, so how has that been working out for you? What have you come across? I seen him using one of those before, but didn't think i'd be bringing that into my workflow... I'm kind of a less is more kind of person.. so i've just been doing it with the sp303 and audacity...

Actually I find myself using Ableton Live 9 A LOT more than before since I bought this controller.  There's still a bit of a learning curve, but man the work flow is a hell of a lot smoother with it once you learn the basics.  I kind of wish that I would have sprung for the APC40 because the extra knobs would make it a lot easier to tweak Ableton's built-in effects and instruments.

yeah it would probably help make things run smoother... I got all the effects I could need right now inside the 303 so all I've really been doing is recording each element into audacity setting a start point for the next track in the same file and just keep working my way down ...sample with effects, drums, hats, acapellas, ...everything gets it's own track and is super simple to use...plus it's free which is my favorite part. I do have reason and someone was telling me it would be better to do what i'm doing in there..because it has better mixing capabilities....so I might start looking into that now....mainly just because I need a limiter for my tracks and haven't figured out a way to do that in audacity.

i'm gonna go check your soundcloud though.

Let me know what you think, fam.  A lot of those beats on my SC page are pretty damn old but still dope nonetheless.

Haha dude is so demure. Unless you're like family I don't think anyone will ever get an insight into his creative/workflow process...

He stopped worrying about...yeah sure, either he doesn't do it anymore and someone at stones throw does it or he just knows what he's doing now.

I don't think he really mixes his beats bruh. I mean no mixing engineer would call knx a "good" mixer. His beats bump because they're comically bass heavy and raw
