What do ya'll think MMS#11 will be?
I do recall STBot dismissing a Professionals album.

I'm speculating that it'll be another Beat Konducta in India. Diwali is around the corner.

Umm ... Supreme Team.  Damn I'm just dreaming though ... lol.  I just need to be the proud owner of a Supreme Team album before this year is out.

at least tell us what it is and that its not coming out on time so we can stop speculating. i'd be fine waiting until early 2011 for 9 and 11, but i just don't want to have to keep guessing and compulsively checking the ST website for any announcement.

yea thats what it looks like its going to be:

Madlib's Medicine Show Number 11 is called Lowbudget High-Fi Music. It's a interesting look back at Medicine Shows past, and a prelude of what is to come in the 12th, 13th and (eventually) the 9th release in the series. All of the regular Madlib collaborators - MED, Guilty Simpson, Strong Arm Steady - are represented here with exclusive tracks. Karriem Riggins pops in for a Supreme Team interlude, as does A.G. Madlib digs out a Jaylib-era track that was earmarked for the never-realized second album and, of course, interludes, outerludes and - probably - queludes abound.

if this is real then it sounds pretty dope. where'd you get that quote from? also, there's going to be a 13th Medicine Show? it was originally only 12. maybe it's a a Madvillain 2 prelude like "Before the Verdict" was for O.J. Simpson.

One of the other members went to the Madlib show the other night and talked to the Bad Kid himself. According to the man he is preparing to release more prescriptions next year and quite possibly for the next five years!

Great to hear. I'm sure he's liking the extra money this year. He doesn't top the charts but releasing 15 albums and getting decent sales will add up. Not to say he's doing it for the money, I just hope that's extra motivation to keep it up. But can we get a subscription if it's going for 5 years?

Cant look forward to the next five years if MMS# 9 and #11 are still missing in action...

I just want a Jahari or Kenny Cook or Eddie Prince Fusion release and I'll be set for a few years...with a dash of a Last Electro seasonal suite here and there. :D

Why am I fighting to live if I 'm just living to fight?
Why am I trying to see when there ain't nothing in sight?
Why am I trying to give when no one gives me a try?
Why am I dying to live if I'm just living to die?

I just want a Jahari release...

YES!

But really, why not substitute with a different one that's finished if that many releases are ready and do 9 and whatever 11 will be later?

hiphopdx has announced a December 7 release date for MMS #11: Low Budget High Fi Music (and for the Anika album). Can anyone from Stones Throw confirm this? (I'm looking at you ST Bot)

^yeah that was posted in this thread already and when i asked if anyone could tell me the source for that no one told me (i'm still interested to hear where that summary's from, by the way). and i'm more concerned with whether or not the 12/7 release is accurate. ST Bot, i'm still waiting...
