"tell me can we kick it like Ali Shaheed and Phife dawg/
people really hate when a BACKPACK rapper get rich and start living that life dawg/
feels like when you get into that paper hip hop hates ya/
they would do it just like i do if they could, its in our nature/
young and rich and outta control, out in L.A. blowing clouds at a killa/
i CAME UP IN THE UNDERGROUND THO, so im gonna spend another $10,000 for DILLA/
call me overrated, or created, or too jaded/
because any way you put it, BITCH I MADE IT/ yuupp"
some real lyrics on there. once someone blows up, everybody hates.
would you do the same? or did he sellout?
thoughts on Drake being a backpack rapper coming up from the underground? lol.
WHAT DID HE SPEND 10 Gs on DILLA FOR?

he's rapped over dilla before:

Same here...I just heard the album yesterday & rewinded that part to make sure I heard what I heard....definitely said Dilla.
I can't hate on dude completely...he's far from great but he has potential. He needs to mix up his flow instead of just singing, then the same style of rapping & vice versa.
*EDIT: Wack beat, Dope reference

1.i think it's one of the weakest songs on the album.
2. if you view this as a pop album i think it's pretty damn good. there are some hip hop bangers on there; notably the track with weezy is epic. the Bun B cameo is my favorite part of the whole record.

i appreciate it as pop. nothing more nothing less. he's got facebook rhymes but i can tolerate it.

the come back season and room for improvement days
where he was spitting with Little Brother and over Dilla tracks
but his flow has wained down to one cause of retards who dont pick up
on a song like share or dont you got a man?
he goin for the money right now though he fuckin up (Blackberry Freestyle?)
and makin me question his skills but i'm reserving judgement
cause of this line he said:
"I'm celebrated at home and I am high above it all
But apologies to my fans that be super conscious
Just wait 'til I get my money right and I am going to ball
yep.....time would only tell. I saw it coming.

can we get this 17 year old that according to himself has nothing left to learn in this world off of STMB?
(regardless on where you stand in the drake discussion)

Weezy track is alright. but i like Show Me A Good TIme better bc of its subject matter (lyrics)
and just that it doesnt have Weezy on it. hahaha. i do like Wayne on that new Eminem joint tho haha
i dunno. people clearing samples for mixtapes now or what?
