If not, they need to change that policy, because that's gonna play a factor in whether or not I shell out $35 right now on this album.

yeah if I get mp3s I'd prob give into the 35$

after all, I cooouuld just get it for free.

it would be a nice surprise if we got the mp3's early

also would be a good strategy for ST since the people who already preordered the vinyl or album, would also buy the mp3s. Im sure of it.

No way I would pay $40 for the vinyl AND pay $10 for the mp3s. If you pay $40 for the record you should also get an mp3 download.

They'd probably sell more high price merchandise if they threw in little treats like that, that made it a better deal for the purchaser. I'd say that would be a better buisness strategy than asking people to pay an arm and a leg, and then throw in a foot too. If that's the case people will just say forget it and download the mp3 for free elsewhere.

The $40 one is only for the special edition, there will also be a regular release for less money, without the bonus 30 minutes. If you want the bonus material then you gotta suck it up and pay $40. I do agree about the free mp3 download, but personally, I like the CD art on the Medicine Shows so I buy every CD as well. It is hard on the wallet but at least you're getting quality in return. And it's not like they're forcing you to buy anything, it's you who wants to own it. I understand your business philosophy and it sounds great, but they're philosophy is make the most profit by making us pay as much as possible, which is how business is almost always done.

If you order the vinyl, does an mp3 download come along with that?

This is my only gripe about ordering stuff from the online store. I also purchase a lot of stuff from Warp, and if you order anything from them, they also send you a code to grab the MP3's while you wait for the LP / CD to arrive.

But....at the end of the day, I'm still going to grab the wax.

I bet you the bottom left and right are going to be the majority of what everyone gets and/or is printed.

The 3lp came today! They are switching it up usually the CD comes around this time and the vinyl later...

Some one post when the CD comes I'm thinking they could have lost my order.

Did you get a shipping notification before your 3LP came?

I usually order my 3LP with the CD so they usually come together in one package. Did you order the CD and your 3LP seperately?

They forgot my CD for MMS#3, I just hit up the store and they sent it over.

It's more or less just another YNU outing. Which is to say it's enjoyable but not mindblowing (in the absence of controlled substances).

He provides a medley which starts with a cover of "Don't You Worry About A Thing" and ends with a reinterpretation of a previous YNQ piece, as well as some pieces on the abstract jazz tip along the lines of his two previous releases this year.

There's also his first take on 70s Herbie that I can remember.

I think the last track on the bonus LP (not to be elitist) is one of the more distinctive offerings here.

Additionally I might note, each of the bonus tracks are stated to be taken from I believe fictitious films, reminiscent of alot of the scoring some jazz cats were doing in the 70s.
