Dudes have been completing tracklists since the first MMS mixtape dropped back in February. So I don't think anyone is going to get banned for calling out the songs.

Yeah, I don't think naming songs used in mixes should be a big deal, as a matter of fact I think it can help peeps learn a lot (myself included!). Always new music to find out about no matter who you are...

Calling out samples used in production is a different matter (unless it's something that's common knowledge or cleared).

You're right, calling out samples used in mixes should be A-Okay. But so should calling out samples used in beats. There is no difference. People who advocate the ideas of 'intellectual property' would like you to think differently. Knowledge should be spread as far as possible at the lowest price.

This is one of my first addition on the STMB.
i just found today an LP from Pierre Dutour "Dance And Mood Music Volume 21", So there is a track that appear on the Flight To Brasil's mix.
This track was called "High Tide"

so my addition on the tracklisting is :

I was listening to the Medicine Show: Flight to Brazil cd, and in the song Fortaleza, there's a song that kicks in at around the 1:20 min mark.

The song is really amazing, like i'm constantly playing back that specific section. I've been searching online trying to find any information as to what the name of the full song is. Ive had no luck.

This has been driving insane since I first listened to this mixtape and I finally decided to sign up to see if anyone can help me. Can ANYONE PLEASE identify the artist at TRACK 1 6:51??? All I know is that it's a version of the famed Brazilian song "Upa, Neguinho", but that's about it. Don't know what version this is, I've been looking for it like crazy all over the place. It's the most awesome version I've heard of the song. Thanks a lot and mad props if you can help me out!!!
