i was thinkin the same thing, maybe he doesn't know the format for the releases, odds are original music, evens are dj mixes, i guess a mix of japanese music could be pretty ill, all shit i wouldn't be familiar with, but the japanese themed beat tape would probably be way iller....

Would as many people buy this if it wasn't part of a 12 month series? These have been lying around for a decade - feels like it's a bit of a filler to make up the numbers.

I'll still be picking it up. It was Quas and Lootpack that got me hooked on ST and the whole historical aspect of the release does appeal. There does just feel like there's a bit of a 'Would people buy tapes of Madlib farting in the bath?' to this release being part of the MMS series.

i would trust madlib to do the right type of farts, loop it in an original way, have just the right volume of water in the bath and have some ill artwork associated. so my answer is "yes."

Medicine Show 4 doesn't have and won't have an mp3 release, that's only for odd number releases. The pre-order for 5 has info coming on May 1st and it's possible they'll put it on digital advance then.
