i remember reading a thread whenever india came out, people said they didnt even want to buy india cause they hate indians "stereotypes" whatever.
stupid assholes were missing out on some of madlibs best production.

this is the one i like most but i dont think there is a best by madlib cause evrythibg sound he fucks with is gold.

Vol. 0 is a weird release...i'll give you that. but if you put it into the context of pre-Quas, '90s-era boom bap, it stands out as a pretty stellar example of the kinds of sounds Madlib can conjure up without getting too deep into the experimentation and eclecticism that much of his later works include. i look at it in the same way as the Jay Dee recordings from like '95, when he was working with Tip and Ali in the Ummah...it's all good music though
personally, my favorite is (without question) Vol. 5-6. its one of those releases that made me get into producing music myself, & in many ways it's a masterpiece of Lib's craft over the past decade.

I just red in an interview that black widow isn’t a track able to picture the whole album but more of an excerpt from a « box set » filled with rock, punk and industrial music but not just psych joints. So don’t just based your judgement on this joint. Expect much more.
