your post got me thinking about that. My original understanding was that "synths allowed" means you are allowed to use a lead instrument, or any voice that can be loaded into your synth module. which is why I added some bell sounds and flute. But I could see where "synth" could mean something more generic, like basic tones with various waveforms and filtering. But in that case there wouldn't be much difference between that and a synth bass, which you can also filter and modify to sound like whatever you want. Flutes and bells are definitely "keyboard" sounds in my opinion, but they could also be considered samples. Anyone have additional thoughts on what should be acceptable in terms of adding synths?

i say use what ever....but i guess its kinda a gray area when people can a load a wav into a sampler of their Aunt Gertrude on the toilet letting out blood curling shrills, while listening to a Toby Keith record off in the other room. Someone might think the combination of Koby Teeth and Auntie G would make a delightfully sound designed synth patch for their particular project.

It didn't really sound like much of the sample is in it though, and sounds a little too put to together to be done in a week..

Yo Delphi. The samples and drums were cut on mpc. The keys were taken into protools off a Roland Juno-G. As far as the "too put togetherness" of it we'll have to take that as a compliment because we did a rush job in a couple hours on wednesday afternoon!! thanks for the vote, sir.
