[pencilface]

did this last week -- it's some stuff i've gotten hold of lately - -all over the place genre-wise, but the second half is quite Bolly-heavy. It is also the most amount of tracks i've managed to cram into a hour!!!
Includes tracks from Poland, France, Turkey, Brazil, Peru, India, Greece, Spain etc...

Yeah, and as someone who doesnt produce, but does like rekkid related nerdery; I'm peeved as well!

Allow me to explain my ramblings.

Many years ago, a few freinds and I were sitting around dosed, and a freind puts in a tape of this flick qued to this scene. Imagine three midwestern American highschool kids peaking and watching this scene for the first time. I had never seen anything quite like it, and dosed, it was almost too much. At the time I had no idea what Bollywood was, so I was completely confused by these apparently maniacal freaks flailing and gyrating around in black masks to the lunatic musical stylings of "Ted Lyons and his Cubs" (the bands name in the movie, look at the bass drum). We rewound this tape repeatedly and laughed like psycopaths at this for what seemed like hours. I think we even attempted to emulate the "dance moves" from the movie, at the risk of bodily injury. Since then I saw part of it in the movie Ghostworld and couldnt believe it; I even tried to watch the movie Gumnam in it's entirety, but somehow it wasnt as entertaining without the chemical enhancement.

So after joking around about having a flashback, I was nearly floored when minutes later I heard this track come on. I hadnt thought about tthat night in years.
