YOU ARE THE MOTHERFUCKING MAN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You have IDEA HOW LONG THESE SONGS HAVE BEEN KILLING ME!!!!!!!!!!
from memory (i haven't listened to this mix in a long time) i remember these tracks being in it somewhere:
Orquestra afro brasileira - Xango
Jose Mauro's Apocalipse & Obnoxious
Azymuth - circo marimbondo
Sambalanco Trio - sambinha
Milton Nascimento - Vera Cruz
i'll give it another listen and see if i can get any more.
I havent checked these yet but I'm about to. I planned on taking up Portuguese when I go back to uni and this album has been killing me to find out what the beautiful lyrics are.
With those songs out of the way im looking for the song in the beginning that sounds like (again I am about to take up portuguese) "E g say E key canta, E g say E key canta" (something about singing?) and I'm looking for what ever version of that "Crickets sing for Anna Maria" that is.
Edit:
Azymuth - circo marimbondo
ANOTHER ONE OFF THE LIST!!! i DIDNT THINK I'D EVER KNOW THIS SO I DIDN'T EVEN TRY TO REQUESt! SHOULD HAVE KNOW THIS WAS AZYMUTH
[u]

I need to know the track around 20 minutes in, I keep reading that it's Jose Mauro but they don't name the track
The interlude sounds get me every time, maniacal laughter, (I think) Urszula Dudziak ululating, and oinking

that aqua track was posted on the board before, you just have to go back and look through mochilla/speto topics. Not really as mesmerized by it like some of these ones just posted. and you must be talking about that track that SOUNDS like "tange tange tange badabba da". I don't remember if it was Asymuth but it's by a pretty famous brazilian jazz musician.
