Just checked the main site:

http://stonesthrow.c...ay-reissue-2010

This is the probably the re-re-re-re-release of the album but looks like someone is finally doing a proper job >_>

New tracklisting, huh? Could be very interesting though

I went to the effort of tracking down an original copy on Amazon (not hard, but $40AUD IIRC), then later found it was re-released and I could have gotten in the shops for less; but I was told the re-release lacked certain (Dr. Doom) skits or samples?

Will this new re-release be 100% like the original (audio-wise), or more, or less?

That's exactly what I said when I saw the news about it. I already got last year's Metalface reissue on vinyl, but the new tracklisting sounds interesting and JJ's artwork for it looks pretty tight.

i bought the re-re-release of it at best buy a couple months ago.

$17

then i opened it, and all there was was a little card with only the front cover and a cd that appeared to be made on a home computer.

best buy absolutely sold me a bootleg copy of operation doomsday for $17.

Don't think it's a bootleg copy. That's excatly what I got with the Metal Face label re-release (click). I got mine for 4.99, when about a week ago it was 13.99. :D

I'm actually with ya there, I've always loved scotch's cover a lot. But whatever they gotta do to get a deluxe edition is fine with me.

i gotta agree i'm gettin kinda tired on re-releases of this shit. doom releases are so few and far between this is all they got. the album was dope when i first got it but it kinda bores me since then. maybe cause i've listened to it so much.

Only Doom album I like is "Mmm...Food" & I got all of his albums from the viktor vaughn days & others...I really ain't feelin him like that to where I would cop a re-release. How about making a NEW album then you can use the new artwork for that? Just a thought since this albums been re-released more times than MJ's "Thriller" album.

It wasnt even DOOMs idea to re-release the record.

I think O.P. Doomsday is a classic record. I put it up there with the Nas record illmatic. If your a DOOM fan youll cop it if not fuck it.

I think It's an ill record. Hella done low budget, I guess that's what I like about it. I've listen to this record too many times to count and i dont get bored of it. Dope cover at too by Jagel. I'll be buying it.

It be a nice idea to add "Favorite Ladies, All Outa Ale, Yee Haw, original Dead Bent track" to the new re-release record.
