What do you use to record onto from turntables. Like when people record mixes or scratching on songs. I'm a complete equipment spaz, so i wouldn't know.

you can find on ebay a tascam cd recorder - "Tascam CDRW - 4U" - no longer made... i purchased mine for about 500 three years ago.. Apparently they made the player too well. Average resell for a 4 year old relic on e-bay goes for 200 plus.

20 bit playback - shitload of feratures no gimmicks. Does not play mp3's though.

if you want to be on the cool list m.lib has one as well. I saw a pic of his studio with the tascam tossed in the background..


regardless best bang for the buck!

I just have a 20 foot RCA cable running from my eurorack to my computer, but I hardly record anything.
