@warpaint & @Fresh

After some digging around I'm not 100% certain, but this version sounds like it might be the version of gimmie some lovin,

Although the Medicine show version has def been sped up.

Its by the Jordan Brothers, let us know what you think.

http://forgottenhits...some-lovin.html (Scroll to the bottom and the track is there.)

cool find but thats not it

pretty sure it will never be found. can't the label get madlib to drop some knowledge on this 1. its such a good version, i like the song itself but the original just doesn't do much for me anymore after hearing this new almost exotic cover of it

best medicine show moment. the samples thrown ontop are crazy as hell too

it's from this record: http://www.discogs.c.../release/368332

Okay a question to the good people on the STMB I only own Beat Konducta in Africa 3LP but my question is are the extra tracks for Loopdigga and High Jazz really worth the extra cash? I was curious cause the extra LP on Africa was alright so I was curious about the others to see if I should pay extra or not!

I really enjoy the bonus discs for both 5 and 7. 5 because you get some more CDP Assassin joints. 7 is worth it solely for the Jahari Massamba Unit track; those drums are :blink:!

Thanks guys!
I ask cause I didn't have cash to buy them during the release so now I am stuck having to pay like 60 for it and I had to be certain!

Yea the bonus albums are good as long as you like the album itself. In no way are they better then any one the 2LPs but as an encore album they are nice.

I personally liked the High Jazz Bonus LP more than I liked the album itself.

On FTB, the first song used in track 5 (Salvador). Im having trouble getting over this groove. Any help with identifying the original artist would be appreciated.

The Medicine Shows are like an update to the Mind Fusions. THE MAJORITY OF THE TRACKS ON MIND FUSION MAKE AN APPEARANCE IN THE MEDICINE SHOW. But I wouldn't necessarily say that that that is being lazy. You can tell that MADLIB maybe expanded on the track, or even better, position the track in a ,a manner that if you remember it on MIND FUSION, it's like a reminiscence of that mix. ALL THE CHARACTERISTICS OF THE MIND FUSIONS ARE THERE.

I'd highly suggest going back and listening to those mixes, it really makes you appreciate both mixes
