Jinesis - dirty, for sure..!! I love all the work going on here and the beat is dope for sure -- but just may be a little low in the cut to stand out as a winner -- still this shit is dope..
Wig - pretty nice funky vibe going on here -- just kinda stays the path though..
ForestBump - head is nodding -- head is nodding, waiting..waiting -- ok, here we go -- definitely picks up, but again not too much changes..
thedoctor46 - it's okay, but not really grabbing me -- dig the funkiness, but doesn't seem to do enough..
Orgazmikvybe - sounds pretty fully sampled, so props on that -- though it wouldn't be as much without the chick -- still I dug it..
Arkive - haha, love the pitched up horns -- makes me think of Public Enemy or something -- anyway, this shit is nice -- kinda on a minimal vibe but highly digable..!!
Rundrip - sounds pretty huge -- dig the use of drum-fills in here..!! not sure how you got this to almost sound dancehall but I like it..!!
nazm0 - this one just isn't gelling for me for whatever reason -- seems too naked all around..
BSun - doesn't seem too chopped -- but rather kinda rearranged -- the arrangement is decent but needs to be stronger for it to stand up to some of the beats this week..
quiet storm - nothing wrong with this -- just too repetitive and minimal to stand out..
have some cornbread - decent beat, but the running high-hat is really distracting -- not sure if it was or not but it just seemed to get louder and louder like a faucet running full power..
Lord Dubious - thank god I am not on acid right now..
half past dead - good, I guess .. I really just dig on drum and bass, or whatever.. sorry
sft - I dig this, but the long pauses are killing me for some reason -- like SOMETHING needs to be in there -- still pretty dope..
buttaslick - damn, the drums are pretty insane on this one (maybe a little too tinny on the hats though) -- but those drums with the dark, sinister horns, sounds pretty sick..!!
BorgoeBeats - cool shit -- moves nice from beginning to end -- with sooo many beats it runs a little long though..
sixty4k - pretty cool -- the delay, or whatever effect, is cool -- but other than that the beat is pretty minimal..
Maestro - I dig this for sounding so different from everything else, but there are times where the bass and/or horns just don't seem pitched right together with each other and everything else..
foutrestyle - just sounds to me like the beat is trying to walk but tripping over its feet .. just seems wobbly -- I dunno, something about that doesn't agree with me -- ha ha..
Phate75 - seems like the hits (delayed..??) aren't hitting right .. kinda distracting..
Snutch Buck - this beat is on a trampoline or something -- anyway, drums are nasty -- not really loving the sliding bass or whatever that is..kinda nasty, still..
Tictoc - you definitely worked the drums nice -- once everything else hits though it somehow loses it's feel even though it gets more sound ..the parts with just the drums were best..
lennycorino - nice, chill -- really dig the bass on this, especially when the beat really steps up..!!
biz20 - very nice -- again, the bass on this is really nice..!!
hmmmmm .. I am surprised most of these beats, while nice, were very low-key..
I dug a bunch this week, but in the end I vote for Jinesis -- shit is definitely not in your face, but is layered pretty fucking deep..!!

cos- grimy, i liked the dirty bass and the chops were pretty ill, i especially like when they echo.
tillman- woah! those trumpets are sick, well done
jinesis- digging how abstract it is, different. im trying to get the overall idea you have...little confusing(but i guess that's the point)
wig- another abstract one! this has got mad funk to it, bass is on point. wish there was a tad more sequencing. but sweet nonetheless.
forestbump- the drum pattern is ill-wah, sick the raspy bass just dropped, i really like this one
thedoc- snare! snare! snare! like what you did with the guitar plucks at 1:06
venomous- nothing more classic than hearing a woman having an orgasm to start your day off right. i like the percussion in this one, wish there was more chop-work...done but nice.
arkive- subtle bass is effective, nice cuts too. the intro is pretty funky
rundrip- havnt seen you in these in a while unless im retarded
nazmo- haha nice vocal cuts, sick chops. they stand out a lot. trumpet chops are well placed. im also diggin the short snare rolls throughout. this is well produced. ends kinda funny though.
bsun- i like the title of your beat, when listening i was like "its too similar" but then that drum break rolled in and straightened me out. nicely done
quite swarm- where are those vocs from? EQ on the beat is top notch " a pimp is only as good as his product, and his product is women, can you dig it?"
???/have some cornbread- kept it original, can be some of the most effective type beats.
dubious- always comin with tha funky type shit, this is like the chars on sesame street candy-flipping and roaming around in a circus. uniqueness!
half past dead- already like the drum pattern, this track blew me away, ive never heard this style beat since ive been doing the battles.
sft- this is unlike you...strictly fucking with the sample. this is pure. drums are priceless...wanted to hear more
butta- seems break beat-esque but then the chops and bass direct the beat in a different direction, this is fire!
borgoebeats- sweet chops! oooh shit that break is supra TUFF! another well produced track, i maybe would have dropped the "windy" bass out in a few parts...nice job
64K- druuuuuummmmsssssss! the simple chops with that bass gives this one good replay value
maestro- yessssss! this is what i call flipping a beat! dark yet heroic like. i got some cuts for this one.
fourtrestyle- kind of busy, its passable though, dont get me wrong. despite its business, its pretty dope, had to listen to it more than once to get it.
phate75- this is how you let the beat build!
snutchbuck- stands out! i like this one. diggin how the beat is based around the bass and buzz synth. (if that's what that is)
tictoc- damn! i like the trumpet chops, maybe a few more bass stabs throughout the track to spice it up.
lennycorino- the trumpet drag and the end of the eight count is nice, havnt heard that yet.
biz- oh ya i remember listening to this much earlier in the week, this is well rounded, not too much or too little of anything. professional sounding.
What the fuck is going on this week, EVERY drum pattern was raw as hell...should have been called beat battle 131: battle for percussion kingdom...so sick.
ALL the beats are winners, no bullshit, even though this sample was kind of hard to make different, everybody had a unique feel to their beats well done everybody. my vote goes to: MAESTRO

Tillman - Hard beat, ill chops. Interplay between the guitar and trumpet spot on.
Jinesis - Sampled drum rolls I thought were a touch off in one spot in the middle, if not for that the drums would be perfect.
Wig - Funky stuff here, the whole mix sounds like Timmy O'Toole made it in his well. Very wet.
ForestBump - Slow banger fo sho. Like the reverses.
The Doctor 46 - Nice track, props
Venomous - Diggin the cut inside the drums. Thought you could put more into it besides the anonymously arousing sample.
Arkive - Nice drums, feelin the vox sampling in the middle.
Rundrip - Thick wet beat here, almost dub style. Kept it interesting too with the breakups.
Nazm0 - I don't know, it was okay, nothing popped out at me. I'd say take more chances with your flips.
BSun - Diggin the long horn repeat, would've been nice if before flippin back into it there was a quick horn break, even while the horn was still blowin.
Quite Storm - Feelin the quick trumpet cut ins, kinda depressin tho, anyone else get that feeling? Did Ken Burns make this track? The flip was the backround, that's my main beef, "a pimp's only as good as his product". Gotta push your product.
Have Some - The best vocal cut use I heard so far, not too much, just a touch. Nice horn interplay. Bass smooth, not too busy. Nice.
Lord Dubious - You always got some crazy work coming out. There were some parts in there that really worked well. Some delays in parts were off to me, the horns were running into each other at those times. The best parts were when the drums picked up, around 40 sec, 1 min., and again 1:35ish.
Half Past dead - Nice drum and bass. Feelin the reverbed top end, gave the mix a fast/slow feel (at the same time that is).
SFT - Hard drums, feelin the reverses and drum fills, spot on.
Buttaslick - Tense 70s fight music. Nice sampling and drums.
Borgoe Beats - Like the groove 20 sec. in, kinda Micheal Jackson in a way with the bass line and wha hits/screams. Funky, but seemingly simple. Ill flip.
Sixty4k - Nothing really popped out on this one. Some nice drum play at times. Seems like if you played with the sample like you did the drums at spots you could crush it.
Foutrestyle - Hard mean sounding beat. Horns were off to me. Liked the idea.
Phate75 - I needed that kick holmes! I heard the snare all up through it, where's that low end! Not a bad idea, and for what it was it was well executed.
Snutch Buck - I thought that zipper sound would get annoying, it didn't. Maybe some automation where you pull the fader down while the bass sustains and you add some reverb to have it seem like its moving away from you at that point. Just a thought. Tight drums and bass.
Tictoc - I thought maybe you could loop the first half of the measure and make it continous and have the drum fillins be at the end of 4. Not that I didn't appreciate the effort.
Lenny Corino - Pretty cool. Laid back groove. Nice.
Biz20 - Swanky.

all of this is from the perspective of 'would i stick this on my mp3 player', not going by whatever level you are at...
phate75 - not mp3. sorry, can't listen
jinesis - Love this. Like early rza, sloppy, dark and aggressive. liking the ticking feel to the drums. real mc friendly. well arranged. on form
arkive - this is sweet too. classy, and a bit 'pimpy'. hank shocklee
biz20... - fucking sweet also.i'm thinking a bit de la. jazzy.
borguebeats - more housey, up tempo vibe. fuck these are all nice and all individual so far. nice sloppy timing and filtering
blacksun - more like a straight looping affair, but done well, all i'd add to this are more drum cut-outs, a few filters
buttaslick - are you listening to a bit of dub-step? real cop movie feel. shit's cool for real, but with this style, you could go ape with the drums and it not be out of place, crazy fills..that kind of shit
Madman - unfortunately for you I feel like I've heard this already, guess that's the problem with 30+ takes on the same sample. not saying i don't like it, just it's familiar by now
cos - i see what you are doing here, you and jin got the freshest style so far. See that bass? fuck with the compression more so the other parts duck more and it sounds less 'linear', imo, that'd make it more live
forest bump - original drums and style, nice panning r - l, maybe have something coming l - r to offset/balance the panning, make shit more symetrical. dunno about the lo-fi/distortion effect, but good beat
foutrestyle - i like that when i hear your beats i don't feel like i always 'get' them first time around. it's doing something for me
GT/Dead:30 - make the mix more forward, it's kinda quiet. when i mentioned butta should have gone ape, this is what i mean. exact-a-fucking-mundo...
dab1uprint - kinda like blacksun...in approach..
lenny corino - made this sound like some african funk. kinda 'linear/copy&paste loops' style, good tho
lord dub - it's an interesting approach, i mean that, but not doing much for me
maestro - not liking the synth. use of the sample sounds like an after thought rather than the focus fo your method
nazmo - funny as fuck intro. beats ok, but the intro was good fella
venemous? - oh i know that porno from somewhere..oh..hold on..it's the WU i'm picking up here...nice steez
quiet/quite? swarm - fuck, the intro's are getting dope...(we should have 'make the best intro' feature battle). nuff said..more of a dj style than a producer style
what's with all the porny shit, is cornbread and beans slang for something?
rundrip - not corny
sft - style points 10. execution 7.5. use of corn reference in song title 10
64000 - not the newest style out there, kinda more dj than producer style, cool enough tho
snutchbuck - fresh style, bit synth reliant but interesting
the doctor 46 - it's ok, kinda basic arrangement
tictoc - nice break work, sounding like a drum track so far, a good drum track..in the horns, got a nice daisy age vibe
o kelvin - i guess you are trying to play the samples/chop like an instrument? it's OK
wig - aw fuck, tightness
i wanted to give it to jin and not always vote for wigmaster on first listening, but after a side by side...wig then Jinesis....

len- nice transition from intro to beat. raw drums. not feeling the horn loop too much. a little too latiny for me
tic- dunno just sort of dj-ish
snuch- i just like the bass a lot. and the drums are really raw and funky. but yeah maybe a little too much saw
phate- nice panning, but not enough to win. maybe sloppier with the drum programming, cause the sound was there
four- pretty dark. not amazing but not bad though
maest- i like what you have going on at first but the horns that come in at 0:30 are kinda out of tune and it sort of kills the vibe
six- sounds a little thin. and choppy. not crazy about the melody. this sample was tough as hell to work with i'll give you that
borg- dope bass. real deep. hi hats are a little too loud on my speaks. again, a little too early 90s style for me
but- kinda flipped it backwards on 'em. i like that. some bouncy ish
sf- nice drums and arrangement and melody. well done all around. only thing not crazy about is the pauses
half- jury's still out on the jungle vibe or dubstep or whatever its called- sorry. not bad though
lord- sorry
have some- kinda just sounds like an interlude
quite- a little sparse. maybe some more stuff in the mid range?
bsun- too happy jazzy i guess
naz- a little too choppy and/or slow
run- dope drum sounds and programming. good panning. may be a tad quantized not sure
ark- yeah just not crazy about the horns. i like that backwards vocal thing. not a lot of melody though
org- ha!
doc- scratchy\
forest- i like the bit crunchiness
me- yeah i should have switched it up a bit. everything is from the sample though
jin- rza style? a lot of different parts to this
til- nice eq. distortion- check. not sure if i'm really feeling the melody too much with the horns and such
cos- corn, eh? no good stuff they say. ok let's see here... nice vibe. really nice. feeling when that 1:22 mark hits. too much saw?
snutchie. that was on a first listen though and would probably change my mind cause there was some other dope beats too
