Stones Throw Beat Battle #127

Biz20 -- off week for the ST/NA collection, so chose any sample you want from your collection and upload here

Producers



• Go to the bottom of the STMB Beat Battle 127 page, you will find the sample mp3 located there for download.
  
• Flip the sample and make a beat (see below for Production Rules)
  
• Upload your beat to the BB127 page
  
• If not already, become a member of STMB and let us know you posted the beat. Membership to STMB is required.
  
• Vote on Friday until Midnight--there will be a new thread up for voting after Midnight on Thursday. (or maybe we will change the deadlines to increase voter participation this week?)
  
  Production rules
  
  
  
• 1 beat per person
  
• 2 minute time limit
  
• flip the chosen sample any way you want
  
• outside drums and bass are allowed
  
• no outside keys/synths (exception - bass)
  
• no acapellas
  
• vocal samples/skits are allowed, but keep them short to meet 2 minute time limit
  
• cuts/scratches are permitted
  
• use the chosen sample that is in the drop to make your beat, no outside sample
  
• These are default rules and can be changed by request of the previous week's winner.

Stones Throw is going to add some fresh tracks to the ST/NA drop this week, but for now it's up to the winner to chose a sample from their own collection.

As far a voting...I think it would be cool to have the voting go through the weekend- 24 hrs is not a big enough window
