lol, I went back and edited it my original comment

I know "The Announcement" is not a new song...what song with Jay Electronica vocals is? Every so often I post a video on this topic in hopes of providing Jay Electronica skeptics instances and evidence of his brilliance as a writer and emcee.

The common critique, with reason, of Jay Electronica's is that he has yet to release an official album. Nevertheless, I propose that he has more than enough music on the internet for those who favor how he articulates particular topics of discussion to digest and decrypt - - "The Announcement" being one of such.

I need help identifying the piano used throughout this - -
Act II commercial. I've been trying to find it for some time and out of nowhere, it played over the radio at a restaurant I was at last night but I couldn't find the source.

Please help!

The Piano sample sounds like it's from the A.I Soundtrack. I've heard it before.

Jay Electronica is probably the most manipulative new character in Hip-Hop.

I dunno though, he wants to work with Wayne and is signed to Jay-Z, his music is pretty good, but his actions just seem to prove it's all a gimmick.

I'd agree he's a hipster play off of Killah Priest.

Bro King returns, Jay Electronica drops a new track.

Coincidence?

# on a side note, feel like I have heard this Jay song a million times before.

goddamn, what a fucking one-trick pony.

now this guy is the most overrated rapper haha...

dope verses as usual, i guess, but the production just sounds the same every single time.

that stock "children screaming 'yay'" sound effect fucking sucks too, he needs to stop trying to make that into his sig as if it's "King of the Beats" or something.

Dude, I am meh with both.

I mean, his flow is killin it as usual, but it sounds, lyrically like any other track he's done pretty much. "I am a blessed son, look me up, I am the greatest, but still there is a struggle, let's unite, kill Devils." The end.

To me, the beat is a good idea, but would stand better with a crazy Public Enemy take on it. Add in more of a crazy break beat drums loop and some more atmospheric, alarming,mc razy screechy noises for the ambience etc. Sounds to one off.
