i dont know how things work in the states in regular when were talking about politics but, i think democracy is best way to get shit working... al gore seems like a guy that could turn shit around to better direction...

"mass america would not elect a women regardless of credentials during a war... the entire patriarchial mindset...."

damn thats kinda fucked, do you mean that mass america wouldnt elect hilary only because of the gender ?

if hilary or mrs. rice were to run right now i think rice would get the vote.. im not a FAN of either of them.. im saying right now america is not ready for a women in general - ESPECIALLY - hillary...

we need a philosopher-ruler, who is the only person with knowledge of the Form of the Good. democracy is actually the second worst form of government, the only worse one is tyranny. but i guess we live in a little bit of both, don't we?

you guys heard of the Internet 2?
you guys ever read 1984?

time is not going to stop. democracy will not last forever. it is time for change.

didnt we supply weapons to the iraq soldiers in order to defend themselves against communism in the 80's? at the time saddam was our allie in the war against communism and im sure that he was doing similar criminal acts at that time too. its not like he just started killing people in the past few years...

"didnt we supply weapons to the iraq soldiers in order to defend themselves against communism in the 80's? at the time saddam was our allie in the war against communism"

that reminds me that george bush jr. had bought a oil refinery with osama (was it 70´s or 80´s) haha

"time is not going to stop. democracy will not last forever. it is time for change." --->
"so what's your alternative? communism? socialism? anarchy? ..."

exactly.

lets add a lil spice in to this... year 2012 doomsday or beginning of chaos... chaos = anarchy / anarchy = chaos ... maybe cr0n is a messiah / profet ?1

I heard a really interesting speaker, was it Noam Chomsky?
an intellectual at least with a vast amount knowledge in sociology, history, politics, economics...

and he was saying that he is an anarchist.
the basic form of anarchy is knowing what is right and what is wrong, I know that sounds sketch but he gave it that essentially once we realize that we are a community and that people should really know right from worng

oh crap i cant remember a damn thing except that when he said it made sense.

plus one thing i do remember is that with technology there is no reason for us to work 40 hour work weeks.
Instead he suggested if the powers that be instead spread out the wealth a bit, we could make so that we work only a few hours a day and have the rest of the time to do whatever you wanted, music, read, excerise...Xbox.

pretty cool Id sign whatever it wsa tho.

everything i said was from a book by Plato called "The Republic," where he outlines the meaning of justice and the perfect society. according to plato, a timarchy and oligarchy are a lot better than democracy. it's a very interesting read.

Timarchy[size=4]
a government where rulers are selected and perpetuated based on the degree of honour they hold relative to others in their society, peers and the ruling class

now thats very interesting. Isnt that what nomadic tribes such as the native idians would do?

the idea of leaders being chosen by who they are, what their moral fabric is is quite an interesting suggestion,
On that neighbourhood leaders would lead, but we have such a taste of "all under law" that ones views would surely great with many, but wisdom is wisdom, the wisest that each block loves should choose is the way. I odnt hink one should be elected by how many hands he shakes but by how many heads he enlightens

ren, i think you should read the book. i can't tell you what it means nearly as good as plato can. he was a pretty smart dude.

democracy is based on that whatever the people vote for is the right choice. timarchy is actually selecting the right choice without error from a misinformed/led public. it's an ideal, not a reality. that would probably be very difficult to execute without corruption in modern times. ... or, any times for that matter.

yah the only way i could see it working is from a block to block view, like Each block has a representative, then each.... and on and on and on.

but even still there is a problem because people will always tie loyalties over rightcousness, in other words even tho this person might be best that person might get voted in because of loyalties what haqve you.

but it is interesting, i do think there needs to be some shake up tho becasue obvioulsly a lot of frauds are being voted in

well thats what we may get, not hear but in the middle east and who knows from there.

i think they should have kept him alive for the kurds trial. must suck being a kurd. they waited 20+ years to bring the guy to justice and he gets hanged on some miscellaneous charge before even being tried for the kurdish massacre. it's like when they tried the nazi's at nurenburg. if that didn't happen a lot of people might not know the real scope of the nazi regime.

those three guys leading him to the rope were pretty cool in their ski masks though.

you know why i bet they didnt trial him on the other more inportant killings (1000's as opposed to hundreds)?

because it has the potential to show huge american compliance and support in the whole affair.
