another living legend gone! I was awake when the news broke. couldn't believe it. I had just played "Live @ The Apollo" from '63, ya know? Had the females BALLISTIC. the man transcended time w/ his music. Imagine living in a world where you hear yourself everywhere? and not in just hip-hop? Maybe our generation will see another legend such as JB (excluding Madlib & Dilla) come through. Rest rest JB
