Well, Jahari Masamba Unit isn't really hip-hop, anyway. It's jazz oriented... But okay.

Well, in all fairness, I don't know how they'd top Madvillain anyways  Can't wait to get familiar with Riggins' personality as an emcee though!

I'm sure I'm alone in this, but I'd be content if Lib did nothing but drop YNQ-related albums. That tends to be the stuff I go the craziest over. And there's a bunch of them that have been rumored that I'm still dying to see in my collection! C'mon man, how bout 3 or 4 of them this year??

would love to be optimistic about that response, but c'mon...

I don't care how many albums Mad drops- he's already made

more than a few fresh albums, and a couple possible classics!

just stop talkin like he's gonna release any of the 500 hundred

albums he supposedly has under his belt already.

they're on some folklore shit, now.

Check it for anyone who has questions on this matter.

i found this info and its quoted from Karriem Riggs hiself just thought i'd share it.

Karriem Riggins: I do so much itís kind of hard to stay on one thing because Iím always doing everything. Common would be working on his album and I would come up with a chant or something, recently I started writing to whatever beat that inspires me and I got a lot of rhymes man (laughs). I met up with Madlib and he gave me 7 beat cdís with 50 beats on each. So we decided to do that album together and we have five albums in the can. We have five jazz albums and weíre trying to finish the Supreme Team album. Madlib and I actually have a jazz group call the Jahari Masamba Unit and itís coming out on Stones Throw.

I think this is an interview from last year. I remember thinking this really had a lot of potential.

I'm in the camp that would like to see 2 or 3 more YU offshoots get full albums. I was a really big fan of the Jackson Conti album. Madlib has really stepped up his instrumental game.
